Calico kittens & cats in Carlinville, Illinois

Kitty is 15 years old. We have had her since she was a kitten. She is not a lap cat and prefers to come to you for attention. She enjoys laying in her cardboard bed, or her pineapple house. She is content to hang out by herself most of the day, but she likes to snuggle at night. She has never had any behavioral issues, and is litter box trained. Within the last 2 months, our younger cat has started to attack her out of nowhere (they have been house mates for the past 7 years with no issues). Where Kitty is on the more shy side, our other cat is very outgoing and bonded to our daughter, which leaves me with an impossible decision. I would love for Kitty to find a home where she can enjoy her last few years without being threatened by other cats. I think she would do very will with another senior cat.

Hi my name is Olaf. I am almost 10 years old. My mom found me at a loud, noisy animal shelter in St. Ferdinand park. I was just a teeny tiny little baby and I was lost in a bush so some human turned me into the shelter to make sure I had somewhere to sleep. The next day my mom came in to see what pets were here. She found me. She whispered in my ear she would be back on Monday to take me home. And she was😆 Olaf is a very loving companion. She loves to hug and be hugged. She sleeps a lot still is very playful though. I am not sure how she is with other animals she has not been around them. I am Karen her momma. I developed brain cancer and have had 2 surgeries for it which has left me lacking my memory. I had to move in with my son and it was very sudden. I didn't bring Olaf not knowing how all the sudden changes would play out. I do know if it wasn't for Olaf my recovery would have been a lot more difficult. Olaf is a wonderful cat. She does occasionally give little love bites.

Hello, my name is Nola. I was saved by my temp mom about 3 months ago. She’s cleaned me, fed me and trained me to find my furever home. I love kids and other cats/kittens. I’m okay with dogs but I’m still a bit confused on what exactly they are. My temp mom tells me I’m the most perfect kitty and I hope I can find the perfect home.

Mariah can be very timid cat. She will interact with you on her terms If she feels safe she will jump on your lap and will love as much petting as you can give her.She does great around other cats. Lola is a lovely, gorgeous orange little girl, about 7 months old. She came to us as a very scared stray kitty fand has recently starting blossoming into her own gentle, kind personality. She will certainly grow into her ears when she gets older and will fill out nicely, we are positive. Lola is in Kitty City right now so the little ones in Kitten Corral do not overwhelm her. She is gaining confidence as each day passes with our staff helping her every step of the way. Lola will do best in a quiet home with another young, playful kitten or a teenager that is very respectful of her space. We want to make sure Lola continues on her journey to trust humans and other animals but slowly and on her own terms. She truly is a real beauty now. Tilly is a dandy! Her owner surrendered her back in January. We are happy to have her but can't believe she's still here! About 18 months old, this girl LOVES her back rubbed and arches her back with every pet she gets. Tilly can be held and carried, and of course, loves laps and cuddle time.
