Story
Luna is an incredibly affectionate yet very selective cat. If you win her affection she wants to be hugged, squeezed, and her belly rubbed. She can happily spend long hours purring on your lap. Unfortunately Luna never took a liking to our daughter since she was born and now with a second baby coming it’s clear this isn’t a household that will make Luna happy. Luna is a large cat and not much of a jumper, so the ideal home has good places to lounge, especially around windows.

Story
I found this cat at Meijer in Wixom. I brought her home only to find out she was pregnant. All of her kittens (Snap, Crackle and Pop) have been rehomed and it is time for her to find her fur-ever home. She is up to date on her shots. She is a very sweet and playful kitty and is great with my dogs.

Story
PLEASE CONTACT: 734-397-8187 or email: gja48188@yahoo.com My name is Firestone, and I'm a ten-month-old calico female kitty. I have been spayed, dewored, and vaccinated, as well as combo tested for FIV/FeLv (negative). I may be shy, at first, as I'm mostly used to my foster mom only, but I'm actually pretty social and love to be pet, have my head scratched, ad snuggle in your lap on the couch or bed. I like to play with toys and get along with other cats and dogs. I would do best in a quiet home and children over 10 years old because grabbing would startle me. I am located (and will be adopted from) at my foster home in Westland. Adoption fee: $150

Story
Callie is an absolute sweet heart. She enjoys cuddles with with both us humans and her "brother" Joey. Although she is shy at first once she warms up to you she loves the company of others. She loves to play as well as enjoy the food and treats given to her. She loves being coddled and given ear scratches. I unfortanately am allergic and need to find her and Joey a new home.

Story
Bubbie has been a lovable part of our family for the last four years. She’s a 12 year old healthy and playful girl. She’s a sweet, quiet, and funny little cat. She can free feed and is fully house trained. She loves to play independently and use her scratching pad. Bubbie was rescued in California after the forest fires of 2020 forced a lot of families to abandon their pets. When my partner and I moved in together in Michigan we each had a cat. After three years of trying, we’ve come to the conclusion that Bubbie wants to be an only child. She experienced fights with other cats before we adopted her and has anxiety about other animals as a result. She is a very good cat, but we’d like to see her as happy as possible and unfortunately we can’t do that for her right now. We brought her to the vet recently and she got a clean bill of health. She’s a good mix of cuddly and independent and doesn’t need any special attention. We’d love to see her in a loving single-pet household!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tweety Bird was thrown out of her $500,000 home into a winter storm at night with a cardboard box and a blanket in it cruelly in the freezing rain and snow while her owner left to go out of country for a few months. She was starved, had ear mites, is front paw declawed and about 8 years old.  She has had a very rough start in life, but we think she was loved at one time and someone most likely gave her away to her last cruel owner.  She developed a very bad cold as well in the freezing cold in December.  Tweety was also missing some teeth sadly and had a painful mouth requiring a few more teeth to be extracted.  A good Samaritan put her in her vehicle and tried to help her as much as they could.    We stepped in to rescue her but sadly don’t have a foster home open for her right now, so she is in a boarding facility.  Tweety recently had a dental, blood panel and vaccines and is very healthy now and waiting for her perfect home.   Tweety absolutely loves being held, she'll fall asleep in your arms or lap and purr extremely loud. She doesn’t seem comfortable around other kitties yet so a home without kitties or slow introductions with a separate room to start with would be great for her.   Could you be the loving home this beautiful pint size beauty deserves? Please consider this sweet kitty. A senior or a quiet home would be perfect for this middle-aged lap girl.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
