Story
Meet Wendy! Wendy was living on the streets and pregnant with her second litter of kittens when a very kind hearted lady (my sister in law’s aunt) brought her in to her home so she could give birth in a comfortable environment! She fostered the babies for weeks until they were finally ready to find homes. Wendy is so sweet. You would think she was someone’s cat if you didn’t know her history! She seems to do well with other cats. She has not been dog tested yet but can be. She is great with kids! The purring can be heard from across the room. This sweet girl is so grateful not to have to live another winter out there! She is about 2 years old. Fiv/felv negative, utd on shots, spayed and microchipped. She is just such a great cat!

Story
Meet sweet Rosie 💕 Rosie is an absolute doll who is quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. She is so incredibly gentle and sweet. She looks at you with her great big eyes and give a tiny little meow for attention. Once volunteers start petting her they have a very hard time leaving as she guilts you again with those great big eyes. Rosie came to our shelter as a stray in very rough condition. She was incredibly matted, and had ear, skin, and urinary infections. We aren’t sure if her condition was from living outside or poor care while inside a home. Rosie was recently had surgery for a bladder stone and will need to stay on a prescription diet to ward off any further stones. We believe Rosie to be a munchkin mix as she has very short widdle legs Rosie needs a nice quiet home where she can enjoy an amazing and loved life she so deserves. She would do best in a home where she can have a short walk to her necessities as her widdle legs have developed arthritis. Rosie is estimated in her senior years and has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for felv/fiv, and microchipped. Interested in meeting Rosie or any of our other kitties please contact us at cats@lvpeaceablekingdom.info or 610-432-2532 ext 6

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Update: Croissant (on the top) has come a long way since entering her current foster home! This beautiful, longhair kitty now spends a great deal of her time inside the foster building, rather than hiding outside in a dog house in the enclosed yard. She is right there inside at mealtime waiting to be served and allows her foster Mom to get much closer to her than ever before. She is not pettable and may never be, but is much more comfortable now within a reasonable proximity to people. She and her long-term companion, Leila, remain closely bonded and will do well in a quiet, traffic-safe barn home with a caring adopter.Original Post:Croissant is a very pretty and very shy kitty.  She and her buddy, Leila, have been together for a long time and must be adopted as a pair. Croissant has no interest in human interaction and needs a quiet and traffic-safe barn in which to live and find happiness!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Adopting from The Cat Shack The Cat Shack rescue is all volunteer and the adopted cats are delivered to your home. Because we deliver the cats to you, we must restrict the adoptions of our highly adoptable cats to a 1 hour drive from the Allentown PA area. Story
Meet Cece! She’s been with us for 5 years. She is a quiet cat, who loves a soft blanket on the sofa or a quiet place to nap. She is pretty nervous until she gets to know you and would prefer a home without kids or other pets. She’s been a great cat with no litter box issues, and she has never been aggressive towards the adults or kids in the house (we have 5 year olds and a 10 year old). However she’s had trouble with a female cat in the house and we don’t want to her not be able to feel safe and enjoy her life. She has no medical issues and is spayed.

Story
Recently we received a call about a cat who had been fed by kind community members for FIFTEEN years outdoors and was suddenly not feeling well. We brought her inside, took her to the vet and found that she has renal issues. This loving girl is approximately 15 years old and still has some time left. She is gentle and kind, even with children. She deserves to be indoors and loved, and we need your help to accomplish that. Can anyone foster or adopt her? If so, please fill out a feline application at www.ehrcats.org and mention her name.November 8, 2024, 1:08 am

Story
Our pets are located and physically fostered in Mt.Airy, NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or one of the north eastern locations. We have a cost effective transporter that delivers every other week. This sweet girl came to us after being dumped at a shelter in NC who euthanizes cats due to lack of space. She is extremely sweet and loving. She is good with other cats and she is used to dogs. She will go to her new home current on vetting, spayed and microchipped. The adopter will get all his vet records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Pixie is about 5 years old and lived outside her entire life until she was recently rescued along with her 3 babies into a loving foster home. She is still shy, but will allow pets and loves to lounge in the sunshine. She has taken to the luxuries of becoming an indoor cat by relaxing, eating and playing, allowing herself to become spoiled, and forever thankful that she will never again spend a harsh winter outdoors. Pixie is looking for a quiet home with a family who will allow her the time it takes to adjust and trust in her new surroundings. She is very much bonded with her daughter, Gidget. She is the last remaining sibling from the litter and the last baby Pixie will ever have. They enjoy spending time together and seek each other out for comfort. They also are loving hanging out with the other cats in their foster home!
