Siblings Jasmine, Jasper (adopted), and Trooper (adopted) were born into an outdoor colony. When they first were brought to us, they were very timid.  Jasmine is really coming around. Gravity came to the shelter with a litter of kittens. Her babies have all been adopted but poor Gravity is still waiting for her furever home! She has become less timid and accepts attention from our volunteers. Priscilla is 10 years young and is about as Zen and chill as they come. She came with her buddy Elvis to the rescue, but they don’t need to be adopted together, although that would be nice if they could be. ##2240491##

Patti was adopted at a humane society back in November. She is 8 going on 9. Her previous owners had her on an open feeding schedule, leading her to become overweight. While she was in my company, I learned she has a sensitive stomach. She has grown found of kibble only and I have learned that the Purina sensitive stomach kibble is the only one that sits well in her tummy. Other than being overweight, she is overall a happy and fat cat. As a first time cat owner, she was no hassle at all for me. She is attention driven and loves a vertical scratchboard she can perch on. She has lived happily with other cats including male cats at her previous home. I am happy to offer all her belongings with her as well. That includes two cat trees, a litterbox and litter, a handful of cat toys (scratcher included), food bowls (including automatic water fountain) and any food I have at the time of adoption. Overall, Patti is lovely company who would fit perfectly into a variety of homes.

Meet Pinto! Pinto was brought to ICHS as a stray. He is still learning to trust the shelter staff and volunteers, but he is making progress every day. While he may hide and even hiss, Pinto is a very sweet and gentle cat. He is just a scared boy! Pinto loves head pets and receiving treats from our staff. He even enjoys playing with wand toys! When our staff isn't hanging out and socializing with Pinto, you can find this cute boy curled up taking long cat naps in his box. Meet Coraline! Coraline was brought to ICHS as a stray. She was pregnant at the time of her intake and had her babies just a few weeks later. Coraline had four adorable babies who have since been adopted! Now, she is looking to find that fur-ever home of her own! Coraline is a very lazy gal. Her favorite activities include lounging around in her bed and taking long cat naps. She especially loves when she can sprawl out in the sun! While Coraline was not a big fan of the shelter staff at first, she has made a lot of progress. Coraline loves hanging out around our shelter staff and receiving pets and brushes. She is so social compared to when she came in! She may even make a good lap cat eventually!
