Say hello to our beautiful Calico Cutie, Momma Mona.  One of the more darkly marked Calico girls that was found months ago running in a neighborhood street and nearby she had some very young kittens that she was nursing.  We were able to scoop up all the kittens and this beautiful momma and take them inside to be safely raised.  Now she is done with her motherly duties and is ready for her very own forever home. At first Mona was so frightened but soon she learned that the love and kindness of living inside with humans was pretty wonderful.  She is a sweet girl and her favorite past time is eating.  She is about a year and 1/2 old and has been spayed with up to date shots, a negative FIV test and microchipped.  She is ready to go and could join a new family anytime!  Just email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com for an adoption form to be sent to you.August 19, 2024, 1:19 pm

She and her sister were abandoned by their previous owner in April.  Her current foster dad lived near by and took them in.  Thumbelina's sister has been adopted into a wonderful loving home.  Thumbelina was pregnant and he brought her in and took care of her during her pregnancy. Since then she has had 8 kittens and they have all been adopted.  Mow it is Thumbelina's turn.  She was previously an indoor cat.  Unfortunatley she is now living in the garage as an indoor/outdoor cat.   He foster dad currently has an indoor cat who is 12 years old who does not like other cats or dogs.  For this reason Thumbelina is not able to be a true indoor cat. These two kittens were given to me by a friend. She was going to drop them at the shelter, so I took them to avoid that. One is a flame point Siamese kitten and the other is unknown. They are however littermates. Simply put i have found out by having them I am allergic to cats. I’m getting sick with them, extreme fatigue, allergy’s etc. I am looking to rehome them, hopefully together but possibly separate. The white one is azule , and the other is Alejandro. I also am experiencing financial burden and struggling to take care of them. They were born may 1st 2024. They play together all day long , and sleep cuddled together at night. They’ve been together since birth. Azule the white one doesn’t ever stop talking.i don’t mean annoying meows. I mean like talking to you non stop.

Everybody loves a calico! Bella Bella was adopted from us several years ago and unfortunately is back, due to no fault of her own. She is a friendly and curious girl, always looking for treats and head pets. My next door neighbors feral cat ran inside her house and had 5 kittens about five and a half weeks ago. Last night the mom cat bolted out an open door and abandoned her kittens. They are little and cute but my neighbor doesn’t know how to care for them and is looking for help. She doesn’t have the internet so I told her I would reach out to a few rescues today. Persimmon is approximately 1-year-old of April 2023 whose shiny coal-black coat really stands out in a crowd!  He is a sweet-tempered and sensitive type who was scared of his new surroundings at first but within the span of 2-3 weeks, he was all over the house and coming around his foster mom for attention and scratches by his tail.  Lately, he has with the cold weather he has become quite the snuggle bug wanting to lay on his person's lap with his favorite foster sister almost every time she sits down.  He hasn’t been around dogs very much but I believe with a proper introduction of a friendly dog and lots of patience, it should not be a problem.  In addition, he gets along well with other cats both young and adults.  He would certainly enjoy a similar-aged or friendly adult cat to tussle with as he enjoys spirited playtime with his foster siblings, but he also plays independently quite well.  He comes to you litter box trained, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this dashing young man!August 20, 2024, 12:05 am
