Third Coast Pets Alive! Momma Amy has had quite the journey over the past few months, but she is finally ready for a home of her own!   At the beginning of March she showed up in a shelter with her six 1-week old kittens (named Sheldon, Lenny, Penny, Howie, Bernie & Raj ). We think she was probably a stray that was wary of people, but once she had babies, someone was able to catch her and get her to the shelter, which then got the whole family into a rescue.   She was quite skinny and skittish at the beginning, but she has been a great mom (all of her babies are very healthy) and now she herself is at a healthy weight. After her spay surgery, she really started to come around! She regularly talks / calls for foster mom to come feed her, lol. But also loves head scratches and overall affection.    She's also now coming out of 'her room' into the rest of the house. Which means she's interacting with several permanent adult cats AND dogs! She's doing amazingly well, showing respect to everyone so there have been no fights and overall she's just doing great.    She would do well in a calm, respectful home. I can totally see her integrating with other chill cats and dogs. As of june 20th 2023 So gorgeous exotic girl and sister calico kittens . Both, super sweet and loving. comes fully vetted. Gets along with everybody. Litter trained

Hazel is a playful six week old calico kitten. She was found along with her sister Honey right before Hurrican Beryl. She's very smart and her and her sister both learned to use the litter box right away. Hazel loves to play on our cat tree and when she's not wrestling with her sister, she entertains herself with the toys that she's able to kick between her feet and chase around. When she's worn herself out she curls up with her sister on the nearest lap or soft spot for long afternoon naps. She's all up to date on her most current vaccines, dewormer, flea meds and test negative for heartworm and feline leukemia.
