Story
Meet Bijou and Ariel, a duo who not only share a strong bond but also strikingly similar looks. Bijou is a longer haired Red Mackerel Tabby Van, Ariel is a Calico Van, both with mostly white fur and red accents. Bijou has red on his head, tail, and a patch on his side, while Ariel has red on her head and tail with some unique brown tabby markings on one leg. Bijou is one handsome guy and loves being brushed, purring loudly when he's happy. Ariel, on the other hand, is a more reserved gal and appreciates a good brushing once she’s comfortable. Both cats have a gentle demeanor and are well-mannered.    Bijou is confident and outgoing, always ready to explore new environments with ease. He’s independent yet affectionate when approached and isn’t picky about toys, although he loves ones he can bat around. Ariel is a bit more reserved and shyer, preferring to lounge in high spots or curled up with Bijou rather than play. While Bijou enjoys socializing and is comfortable around other cats and dogs, Ariel is more cautious but gets along well with other animals, though she prefers a calm environment.    Bijou is highly food-motivated!  He can be a bit of a food thief but due to severe food allergies he has to be separated from other animals during feeding. In contrast, Ariel is not very food motivated and prefers to slowly savor her meals. Despite her lack of interest in food, she has learned to jump into her cage for meals so nobody can steal her crunchies. Both cats have specific dietary needs and routines, making feeding time a bit of a ritual.    Ariel has hyperthyroidism, a heart murmur from HCM, and IBD, all managed with medication and a special diet. Bijou, while generally healthy, needs a strict diet due to his food allergies to avoid severe gastrointestinal issues. Despite these challenges, both cats are loving companions. Bijou’s outgoing nature complements Ariel’s shy, gentle personality, making them a perfect pair ready for a forever home that can cater to their special needs. November 5, 2024, 8:10 pm

Story
Hi! We’re looking to find a forever home for Miss Murphy! She’s a small ~18 month old diluted Calico, with an abnormally small tail. We asked the vet about it and he said it looks like she was born with it that way. She’s sweet and loves to lay on your chest or lap to get pets/scratches. She loves to play with interactive toys and has a lot of energy, so lots of toys and attention are recommended. We rescued her from the area around our apartment complex because we noticed she was pregnant and were worried she’d have a rough time giving birth so young and during this cold time of year. We brought her indoors, got her checked up, vaccinated and spayed. We would’ve loved to give her a home but we have one cat and two dogs that are all at senior age so none of them are interested in playing with her. We believe she would do best in a home with cats or dogs that share her energy level or somewhere she can let loose and play on her own without worry of disturbing an older pet.

Story
My husband and I adopted Twigs from a shelter in 2019 when we were living in Indiana; the shelter estimated that she was about 2 years old, so she is likely about 7 or 8 now. The shelter found her abandoned in a store parking lot, and we suspect she may have been abused. She can be pretty skittish and frightens easily, but she is very sweet once she trusts you. She likes to cuddle and play with her toys, especially shoelaces. We had a baby in 2022, and unfortunately Twigs has not adjusted very well. Based on vet visits, we determined that she developed significant anxiety. We have tried several solutions, but it's now been over 2 years and she has not been herself. She needs more attention and love than we are currently able to give her. We would love to be able to rehome her to an individual or family who doesn't have other animals and can give her the time and attention she needs. We are happy to provide all of Twigs's belongings to a loving adopter :)

Nugget is as spunky as she is beautiful. She is a 7 monty old chatty girl who must have a playmate. She is so entertaining to watch! Nugget has integrated well into her foster home with 4 cats, 2 dogs, and kids. She loves to play with toys, especially small balls. She enjoys pets and cuddles. If you're looking for a cat that talks back to you, is full of kitten energy, and is gorgeous to look at, then Nugget might be the one for you.

Story
Frankie is a sweet, affectionate cat who loves to lounge, play, and enjoy quiet companionship. She has always been litter box trained, but after our recent move, she began spraying due to stress. She never had this issue before, so we believe she would do best in a calm, low-stress home with a patient owner who can help her feel secure. Her vet confirmed her urinary symptoms are stress-related, starting when our other cat, Casper, began playing rough with her. She does not get along with other cats and would be happiest as an only pet where she doesn’t have to compete for space. She needs:
 ✔ A quiet, structured environment
 ✔ A patient owner
✔ A home with no other pets With our busy schedules, we can’t provide the attention she needs. We truly believe she’ll thrive in the right home. If you’re interested in adopting Frankie, please reach out!

Story
I picked these two up from the Humane Society when they were kittens back in May of 2016. They grew up around my roommates two large dogs for a few months. My current girlfriend has a dachshund and they have met on a few times but are unsure about him. She is not very vocal unlike her sister. They both have been on a raw food diet since the start. She has also been declawed in the front.

Story
Matrix is a chill guy who gets along great with his roommates in the catio he resides in. He loves pets and doesn`t mind being held, and loves to climb up high and explore! He came to us with his sister Sage but has been pretty independent and would do well in either a multi or single cat household.
