Paisley is at my friend's rescue Hippie paws cat sanctuary in west Fort Worth area. Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. Very sweet, cuddly girl. She loves to loaf on you while you’re laying down, loves butt pats, and overall just wants to be next to you at all times. Will do best in a home with no other cats, but she was raised with dogs so she doesn’t mind them. Located in Irving

Sachi is 3 years old. She is very sweet and playful, has been in a home with 1 other male cat and did very well. She has no tail per first vet visit she only eats wet food, but as she’s gotten bigger she might be able to eat dry. She is playful, but cautious with children (i have a 1 and 2 year old and she was very patient).

This is Pluto. We rescued him when he was just a baby and we are very sad to be rehoming him. I recently had a baby and he isn’t doing too well with a cat around. A little about Pluto. He’s LAZY! He isn’t playful all the time but sometimes. When around other animals he just minds his own business. He loves to eat and loves treats even more. He also likes to drink his water with his paw. He loves staring out windows to watch birds. He is very good around kids and even newborns. When we brought our baby home he sniffed and tried rubbing up against him. He is a very loving kitty. He's also a great cuddle bug. He’s a very sweet cat all around and we want him to go to a loving family or even one person household. We tried two different owners before posting him here. First one had a very hyper dog/puppy that wouldn’t leave Pluto alone and I saw he was stressed so I took him back. Second owner had two other cats and one of her cats did not like Pluto for some reason.
