***** Neko has been with us longer than we would like so he is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and his adoption fee has been reduced to $10. *****Meet Neko, a sweet loving lap cat boy! He loves to snuggle up on your lap and get all the attention he possibly can get. He has lived with other cats before, so as long as I have a slow introduction with to my new home and my new feline friends, I`m sure I`ll do just fine. If you`re looking for a great companion, then look no further, because Neko is here to cuddle your worries away! He is hanging out in the cat room at Thrift Store West at 6904 Watts Road and you can visit him anytime during the hours the store is open!Medical History: Neko has signs of early chronic kidney disease, and the veterinarians here are helping him manage things well right now. Additionally, he came to the shelter with severe dental disease, and needed to have all his teeth extracted, but he`s healing well (and toothless cats are the best!). Forrest and Salty are a bonded pair of siblings. They are very sweet but a bit timid so will take a bit to get used to a new situation and people. They both like to be lap kitty`s especially Forrest, they like to play hard and then hangout in bed or couch and chill out. Probably better in a quieter household with older children or in an adult home. They play well together and keep themselves entertained with toys but are all in with feather toys or balls. Are you the right family for this sweet duo? Lockette’s story is one of resilience. Found braving the elements with her kittens as autumn’s chill set in, this courageous mama has been through so much. She’s still a little wary of people, but each day she’s learning that humans can be kind and gentle.Lockette recently underwent dental surgery and had all her teeth removed due to severe issues. Though this was a big step, it’s given her the chance to feel better and start to transform.
