Hi, my name is Archie. I've been through a lot in my almost 6 years of life, and I will need a patient home willing to work with me to be the best kitty I can be. I promise I'm a good boy, I just need a chance! It's going to take time, patience, and someone who will be gentle and understanding with me while I adjust to my new environment. Once I am comfortable with my surroundings, I love to use my scratching posts and explore cat trees! I enjoy the breeze of an open window, and I must say, faucet water is the best water! Okay, all joking aside, that number is how many days (as of March 1st) that we have been homeless and waiting for someone to rescue us! YES, we are stressed, and it shows. YES, we are shy, and YES, hiding seems like a good plan to us. What we desperately need is for a cat whisperer to decide to love us anyway, no matter what, and to take the time that we need to feel comfortable in the world. SO many terrified kitties have come and gone at the shelter that have turned into real lovebugs once they are given a fair chance and a home. We know we can get to that point as well! We are currently in a foster home to try and open up a bit, and we are making progress every day, but we would really love a real home of our own where we can finally decompress and begin to thrive!
