Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Dorothy♠️ • With People: Dorothy may need a little time to warm up to strangers, but once comfortable, she becomes affectionate and playful, even giving kisses. She’s not used to being held, so she tends to stiffen up when picked up. • With Dogs: Dorothy gets along well with other dogs, though she may be initially shy with unfamiliar ones. She enjoys playing with familiar dogs but is still learning how to play gently, as she can get overly excited. • With Cats: Dorothy coexists peacefully with cats and shows no issues interacting with them. • Separation Anxiety: Dorothy is independent and can stay alone without barking or showing anxiety. She sleeps well on her own, making her a great companion for any routine. • Potty Training: Dorothy is pad-trained and adapts easily even when the pad’s location is changed. • Walking and Outdoor Behavior: She enjoys walks but tends to pull on the leash when she’s curious about something, like birds. Training is ongoing to improve her leash manners. She also responds well to sitting when directed, especially around passing people. • Grooming and Hygiene: Dorothy is comfortable with grooming, including baths, brushing, nail trims, and drying. • Car Sickness: She generally travels well in cars but may occasionally experience vomiting. 💌Special Notes💌 • As a puppy, Dorothy may display behaviors like mild separation anxiety, mouthing, whining, or mischief, which require ongoing training. • Her coat type and eventual size are uncertain due to the lack of information about her father. • Dorothy has mastered “sit,” “wait,” “lie down,” and “eat.” She also responds well to her name and will eagerly run to you when called. ❗Health Status❗ • Spayed: Not yet completed • Microchipped: Not yet completed • Other: Dorothy has corneal edema, requiring consistent application of eye drops. This condition is not contagious.

Ooo ooh! Pick me! Pick me! My name is Maddy and I was dumped at at high kill shelter. I was super sick (antibiotics cleared me right up!) and I was all skin and bones. Angels at AWFA rescued me in the nick of time and I am ready to find my forever family! I am such a good girl - A loving, beautiful, sweet blonde bombshell who loves everyone I meet.  I'm good with some other dogs but would love to be an only dog to get all of the attention.  I like kids but would probably do best in an adult home.  I am house trained! I'm a quiet girl but will alert you if needed. I am looking for my furever family to snuggle and cuddle and love. Is that you?! ***************************************************************    Interested in adopting this pet? Story
Meet Rocky! He's a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention. He loves to cuddle and be with his people. He's smart and food motivated to learn new things. His current foster puts him a sit/stay while he places his food down and then releases him to eat, which he does very well. He's also potty trained. When you talk to him he'll give you this funny look like he's trying to understand. He is ok around other dogs, until he gets impatient with them. This is very common for Jindos. He would do best in a house without other animals. His healthy recently took a turn and he can only use his back legs 5% of the time. He has seen a primary Vet, a Chiro, an internist and an Neuro and they're not sure of the cause. He is still very cognitive and fully aware of everything around him, his back legs just do not want to cooperate. He has a wheel chair which he is learning to use. He's hoping his forever home is out there to help him navigate his remaining years. He can't wait to find his forever home. Meet Rocky! He's a sweet 8.5 year old Korean Jindo mix who loves attention.
