Story
Hi, my name is Cupcake, as I am the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I am a 2.5-year-old Canaan dog originally from Jordan. My life didn’t start off easy. I was owned by someone who mistreated me. For the first few years of my life all I saw was abuse at the hands of the person who was supposed to be my protector. One day a local rescue called “Rahmeh” took me for TNR. The minute they returned me to the area, a Good Samaritan called them to inform them of the daily abuse they witnessed me endure and urged them to rescue me. They didn’t hesitate. Upon retrieving me from my unfortunate circumstance, my rescuers noticed that I had lost part of my front leg and that my back leg appeared to be paralyzed. Despite my disability, I am able to walk and run a short distance beside people. My mobility is good on carpeting, stone surfaces, and grass. My rescuers saw my potential to overcome my challenges, so they contacted Canaan Dog Alliance who gave me an opportunity to travel to the United States. I am now here in New Jersey waiting to find my forever home. My ideal home is one that is quiet and childless, with adults that have the dog expertise and time to invest in professionally training me. I need a kind and patience approach to blossom to my potential. Will you give me the second chance that I deserve?

She is current on her vaccinations, dewormed, and heartworm negative. Meet Cora, a young dog whose spirit is as radiant as the sun. Her nature is a delightful blend of cuddly, playful, friendly, sweet, mellow, and gentle. Cora has a knack for winning hearts with her well-mannered disposition, a trait quite admirable for her age. She loves to socialize with her fellow canine friends, always ready to engage in a playful frolic. Cora's favorite pastime is receiving belly rubs, which she enjoys with a joyous wag of her tail. Her sweet demeanor and gentle heart make her an excellent companion for any loving home. Cora is waiting to share her love and happiness with a family that will cherish her as much as she will them. Hey there, I’m Eddie! I’m a super sweet little guy with a big heart and even bigger energy. I absolutely love attention—if you’re giving it, I’m right there soaking it up! I’m a very active pup who loves to play, whether it's with my toys or on one of my walks. Adventures? Yes, please! I’d love to go on fun outings with you, whether it’s exploring new places or just running around. I get along with most other dogs, but we’re still trying to figure out what I don’t quite like in some of my doggy pals. I can be a bit pushy with other dogs, but I’m working on that! I’m about 2 years old, but I’ve got so much energy that I could probably keep up with pups much younger than me. I would like my furever home to be cat-free. Also, I think I’d do best in a home without little kids, just because I can be a bit much with my energy and excitement. If you’re looking for a playful, active buddy who loves attention and adventure, I might just be your guy!
