Story
Turtle is a pure bred Italian Mastiff (Cane Corso) that I adopted from a Humane Society. As a puppy, he was perfect but he developed some dog to dog aggression, especially with other males, and started to display very protective behavioural issues including leash reactivity and being very protectove of his owner, which, while common for the breed, became harder to control. I recently separated and while I try to give him the time, attention, love and exercise that he needs, I'm sure he could be happier in a different setting and he has complicated my life by isolating me because of his protective nature. He CAN learn to trust new people and when I need to travel for work, I board him at kennel that has fallen in love with him and the young female carers there adore him and he shows no aggression what so ever towards the people he gets time to know. They socialize him with the right type of dogs, usually submissive females, and there has never been an issue.

Hi, I am the super-cuddly Kyda and here's some information about me: Age: 1.5 yearsBreed: Cane CorsoWeight: 115 lbsHeight: 24 inchesFemale (intact) Being a young and playful pup, I love to get as close as I can to you on the couch. I am good in the car and love to camp. One of my quirks is to turn taps on for fresh water, when lying  in the sun on hot days and did I mention I am an experienced counter surfer! My current person says that I am a good walker, both on and off leash but I am shy with new dogs, people or places. I do have a sensitive side and don't do well in new situations or left alone for long periods. This gives me some separation anxiety, so I will howl and bark in these new situations. I just need some time to adjust and then I am good to alone for a while again. Sometimes, I don't get along well with other dogs and feel the need to protect my people. After all I am a very loyal and loving dog. I have a condition called 'cherry eye' which the vet has looked at. Sweet little Dyson and her siblings came into our care due to an unfortunate circumstance of neglect. They were emaciated, malnourished and under-socialized. After some much needed TLC, the sisters grew in size and confidence. Her sisters have all found their furever homes, while Dyson still awaits hers. Dyson and her siblings got their unique vacuum names because they acted like little hungry hippos, trying to eat everything in sight - including things that were not edible. Dyson has slowly grown out of that behaviour but will require monitoring while she settles into a new home and routine. During her time in foster, Dyson has had the opportunity to experience "normal" dog life. Having access to an unlimited number of stuffed animals and going for hikes. Dyson is currently in foster with a dog and 2 cats. She would benefit from having a friendly canine companion in the home to help her gain confidence. Dyson is going to take time to warm up to her new person and feels most comfortable around women. Dyson would do best in a quiet home with someone who has the patience to show her that the world is not a scary place. . Hi, I'm Grayson! 😁 I'm a four month old Cane Corso/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy and I currently weigh approximately 35 pounds. When fully grown, I'll be a big boy but just as cute, if not more handsome and distinguished. 😍 I'm a submissive pup and good with other dogs and cats too! Kids are awesome and I listen well. I'm great on leash and take direction very well from my human. When I see another dog on my walks, I pull a little out of excitement but that's easily corrected with treats because I love food! 😋 I've been using my crate at night and during the day with no issues. I love my sleep and my crate is a cozy and safe space. ☺️ I'm doing great with potty training and working hard to tell my humans when I need out. I've been told my long legs and stubby body is similar to that of Bambi on ice. I'm definitely much cuter and way more cuddly. Just saying. 🙃 Even though I'm only four months old, I've mastered the puppy dog eyes and honestly, they'll get you every time. 😉 I love being where my people are and that includes laying directly by your feet in the bathroom or in front of the shower. I absolutely love rope toys, balls, Kongs and peanut butter. I listen really well, especially when food is involved. I'm an easygoing boy and eager to make you happy. I know you'll fall in love with me the moment you meet me. ☺️ Let's start our adventure today....apply to meet me! 💙
