Story

Spencer is a pure bred Cane Corso with a lab like personality. He lost his home due to kniw fault of his own after his owner was displaced. Spencer has been very socialized and loves other dogs and used to frequent doggy daycare before he was displaced. The owner of the doggy daycare has also been trying to help him find a forever home and is happy to provide a reference for Spencer. Spencer has had professional training, including several rattlesnake diversion classes. Spencer would do best in an active home. He attaches super quickly and bonds very easily with new people. He doesn’t have the stranger danger that we typically see with Corso’s and would make a great addition to almost any family that has the time to give him. Spencer is currently in the San Diego area and we minimally need a foster that is local to San Diego. Out of State adopters are considered, however, all adopters are required to meet and pick up the dog in person as we do not put our dogs on transport. If Spencer sounds like a dog that would be a good fit for your family, we’d love to hear from you. He is currently in boarding and longing to be in a family environment or with a person that can dote on him.

Story

Luna is the rescues longest resident. As a young puppy Luna was sent to a board n train where harsh methods were used and her trust in humans was completely destroyed. She was flown down to us from a shelter in San Jose in the hopes we could work with her and get her to the point of being able to safely be adopted out. Luna has definitely been a labor of love but she is ready for a home of her own now. She has perfect house manners and is completely house broken. She walks beautifully on a leash and participates in our pack walks where she solicits love and attention from everyone. On the homefront she can be protective but she is a corso, and this is to be expected. She’s been fostered with both dogs and cats and with proper introductions would easily be able to live with other pets. She’s never had an altercation with any animal. She really needs a home with someone who understands the breed and loves cuddling with their pup as she’s a huge cuddler.

Maddie is a sweet big girl. She loves to play and loves scratches from kids and adults. I'm currently fostering and have been for a few months but I travel too much. One of my friends moved to an apartment that didn't allow pets and she was going to put Maddie in a shelter. So I offered to house her for a few months until I met someone that could care for her but I can no longer foster due to travel each month. She's sweet, loves cuddling, and loves to sun bathe.

Story

Ichigo was born in Houston May 12, 2023. He is AKC certified. I moved to California for the military. I did not know my living situation so he has been in a town home since we moved. He definitely needs a yard. He is very cuddly and definitely an indoor dog. He has anxiety with large vehicles outside that makes it hard to walk him. He is easily over 120. He occasionally gets the zoomies inside. He has only chewed up a few chargers when younger but other than that nothing other than plastic water bottles and toys, unless left alone for a while then he will chew up clothing. He is kennel trained. Stays in the kennel for around 8 hours (normal work hours) with music playing. He is quite clingy! I’ve always allowed him on the furniture. He is good with bathing. Any other questions please let me know. Few is just to transfer cert and chip.
