Oddy is a very happy dog He is 20 months old now He is very athletic and very handsome he weighs about 110 pounds. The reason I’m looking for a new home is my situation has changed a lot. My son has moved out and it’s just me and I work long days and Oddy spends a lot of time by himself lately. He needs someone that has more time available than I do a family. He was diagnosed with epilepsy in October and it’s been a few hard months financially as they figured out his medication, but it is maintained now with his medication. I’m hoping to find him a wonderful home to fulfill all his needs as I can’t provide all of those needs for him.

Hi there, I'm Lizzy! I'm a young girl with such a bright and happy personality. I love to wiggle my whole body and smile at everyone! I do great on a leash- hardly pull at all. I'm potty-trained and get along well with other dogs. My only request: no kitties please!  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to request an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and Minneapolis, MN areas at least monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual and we will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. ##1971509##
