Hello there! My name is Norman, and I'm on a quest to find my forever home! Let me tell you a little about myself. First off, I'm a big, lovable goofball with a heart of gold. If you're looking for a dog who's always ready to play and have fun, then look no further! I'm your guy. Whether it's chasing after a ball, playing tug-of-war with my favorite toys, or just romping around in the yard, I'm always down for a good time. But don't let my size fool you—I'm a gentle guy. I absolutely adore getting scratches and cuddles from my favorite humans. There's nothing that makes me happier than curling up next to you for some quality bonding time. Now, I have to admit, I do have a bit of a playful streak when it comes to walks. I do fantastic on leash most of the time but sometimes, when I get really excited, I like to give the leash a little tug or two. But with a bit of training and patience, I'm sure I can do better. When it comes to other dogs, I can be a bit selective. I have my own unique preferences, you see. Some furry friends I get along with, while others not so much. That's why a meet and greet would be essential, so we can see if we're a good match. When it comes to kids, I'm a gentle giant. I've got a soft spot for little ones, and I always do my best to be kind and patient with them. So, if you're looking for a playful, wiggly boy who's ready to bring a whole lot of love and laughter into your life, then look no further than me, Norman! I can't wait to meet my new family and start our amazing adventure together. *Just a heads up, the way I behave here at the shelter might not be exactly how I'll act in a home environment. Beings that I came from a pretty rough background, I am a bit nervous with newbies…But once I trust you, buckle up and get ready for 80lbs of pure smoochiness and love! Just imagine the joy of having me leap into your life, but fair warning, I will test your balance as I lean in for never-ending snuggle sessions! Oh yeah, HOG ALERT! I prefer trotting through life with human buddies rather than any fluffy roommates, so prepare for all my affection to be solely yours! Older teenage humans are my favorite playmates, being a pretty big girl, I would hate to accidentally knock over little itty-bitty little ones. I am basically a professional squirrel exterminator, so having a good size yard for us to have big fun together would be a dream come true! One of my favorite things in the whole world (besides marinating in your affection) is running and playing around in the pond at the Sanctuary. I just love getting all spunky, sniffing out little critters, and zooming after toys! If you are interested in adopting me, put in an application at the MAS website (linked below)!
