Story
Maverick is a 1.5 year old Cane Corso. He is house trained, good with other med-lrg dogs, e-collar trained, and socialized. He is a great pup who requires a yard to run or someone who has time to exercise him mentally and physically. He has completed a 2 week board and train program and knows basic commands. He loves his squeaky toys and bones. He is crate trained although prefers to be under you when you’re home haha. He’s fully vaccinated and a healthy boy. No health issues have shown. He’s been with 1 owner since he’s 14 weeks old. If you’d like to meet him or get more info please reach out. NOT AGRESSIVE, NOT FOR BREEDING, HAS LIVED LIFE AS AN INDOOR FAMILY DOG.

Story
Meet Bronson- the 3yr Corso! Bronson is a very energetic and happy boy. He is always down for a game of fetch or tug and he loves going for walks! He is a very sweet boy and loves meeting new friends- both human and doggy. He does very well with other medium and large breed dogs and would love to have a playmate! Bronson is looking for a home with a fenced backyard with no small children or dogs. He also needs a family who will meet his exercise needs daily. Cane Corso's are known to be quite stubborn, and Bronson is no exception. Bronson is by NO means aggressive; however, he does need an experienced adopter who is willing to keep up on his training. He is a very intelligent boy, and just needs a family who will enforce boundaries with him. He is crate trained, house trained and knows basic commands. He does tend to forget how big he is and can also get very over excited at times. This can lead to him jumping up on people (playfully) or to him plowing people over. Because of this, he needs a family with no children under 13 or small breed dogs. He has been working very hard on these things while in our care and has already made tremendous progress. We have no doubt that with time, he will do well in these areas. Bronson is neutered, up to date on vet care, HW- and microchipped. Does Bronson sound like a good fit for your family? Reach out for an adoption application!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet the magnificent Miss Hetti. She is a playful, energy abundant Cane Corso, and likely, boxer mix. Her most recent weight has her up to 68lbs at around 16 months old. She loves tummy rubs, fetch, and Benebone chew toys. Hetti thrives on multiple walks per day however can over heat quickly in higher temps. She is very strong and still learning manners with passing animals so an experienced handler and dog owner is a must. She loves greeting people but due to her size and still puppy behaviors, a house with kids over 12 is preferred. For Hetti to live her best life she should be a solo canine with a large fenced yard and an active owner willing to give her the exercise and attention she needs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. August 18, 2024, 3:27 pm
