Hi I'm Blue, I am a nervous love bug that wants nothing more than to get pets all day. I love food more than anything and will do everything I can to get it. Including sucking in my gut and getting upset if I'm called fat. I don't like small animals or kids as they make loud noises and quick movements. I do well with other big dogs and love my blankets. I'm crate trained and house broken minus the occasional accident or nervous tinkle. My favorite toys are rubber balls and fluffy animals although they don't last long. I also get jelly belly if you aren't paying attention to me and sometimes act out. I am a runt cane corso and have some health concerns. I have a underbite and sometimes have a hard time gauging where I'm biting. I have a few vision problems especially in the dark and selective hearing depending on the situation ( partially deaf unless you say treat). I will bark at cows and have been around horses.

Laika is a beautiful blue/gray with a touch of brindle 5 year old pure bred Cane Corso with ICCF papers. Laika enjoys long walks/runs and cuddles. Her entire life has been spent in a rural setting on a farm. Living as an indoor/outdoor pet she has been well trained, and house broken. Laika knows all of her basic and some advanced commands and is very eager to please, food and praise motivated. She is a sweet gentle giant with a family and wants nothing more than to be with them. She doesn't take to new 4 legged friends well so it's recommended that she is put in a setting to be a sole dog household. She loves to roll around on the couch, floor or even your lap. Genuinely she's a unique dog.

Welcome our sweet girl Petunia! Petunia is a female Cane Corso mix around 5 years old and weighs 91 lbs! She is a gentle giant and is kid and dog friendly! We may be biased but we think she has the most beautiful smile in the world! Petunia is spoiled rotten and and will take a belly rub whenever she can get one! She might be big but she is a lap dog at heart. She is heartworm positive but just completed treatment and doing well! Petunia has been spayed, microchipped and is current on her vaccines. She is ready to go home today! Apply online at mmahrescue.org if interested Petunia’s adoption fee is $350 (cash/check only)Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age.
