Story
Hi, My name is Arnie and I am a 4 yr old, 27pound, corgi mix. A timid fellow, I am no longer scared of EVERYTHING (collar, leash, etc), but I still have a ways to go, and don't like to be around other people. motivated, I am a gentleman 90% of the time! I get along with other dogs in general, love to play fetch, and snuggle! This little guy can pack a punch, though. He has a history of separation anxiety and resource guarding. He has nipped a few people out of this anxiety when they are too close or near his food source (his owners).Since learning this, he would do very well with a single owner/couple who keeps more to themself with a backyard or who enjoys walking in non-crowded places(we keep his muzzle in pocket on walks in case 6ft space isnt possible). Crate trained and whoever adopts me is provided with my harness, muzzle, trazodone. With some patience, guidance and snuggles, I would love to be your newest addition! We solely cannot keep him bc we have lots of visitors.

Story
    Hi Everyone, I am Corinne’s foster mom and I wanted to take just a minute to let you in on the best secret going here at AAU. Corinne is absolutely PERFECT in every way! She has been trained so well and is just a super sweet dog! She was recently returned to AAU after 7 years of being in the same home. Unfortunately, her owners had to return her. This return was in no way any fault of Corinne’s.   Let me tell you about her: she is somewhere between 8-10 years old, but acts much younger than that. She is around 38 pounds so a perfect size. She adores going for walks and is good on a leash. She is perfectly house trained and crate trained. She is even trained not to walk on area rugs or jump on furniture unless given permission!  She waits for you to say yes before going through a door to come in!   Now, let’s be real, Corinne is not a tall, beautiful girl with flowing hair or a cute, little fluffy dog. She is kind of long and short and has the most gorgeous dark brown coat with little pops of white on her chest and toes. So, she may not win a beauty contest, but her behavior more than makes up for it! She will even lay down and roll over when you say belly up as she LOVES belly rubs!     Trust me, if I didn’t have three dogs already, there is no way Corinne would be leaving my house!  So, get your applications in so you can meet this precious, sweet, loving, well behaved dog!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
