Story
Luna (A142198) is a 5-month-old DSH who weighed 6.5 pounds on intake! 07/20/26 Luna was returned to the shelter because her adoptive owners felt they were not the right fit for her. She was said to be a wonderful cat who was very people-friendly. She was even stated to do great with babies and children! Luna was noted to be fearful of strange dogs, which is totally understandable. Her owner did get her acclimated to using a harness, and she was said to do well in it. Luna was noted to be litterbox trained and has used it well while at the shelter. She is a young playful kitten with lots of spunk and love to give! If you are interested in meeting Luna, please let us know! 05/20/26 These adorable kittens were surrendered to the shelter because their owner had too many kitties to care for. Addison grew up with many cats in the home and two dogs! He was said to do well with them but does like to play rough. They were also raised with children, but could be a little mouthy at playtime. It is important that appropriate introductions are made! All three kittens have used the litterbox consistently and have had healthy appetites. On intake we found that they had ear mites and received their first dose of Revolution. It will be their new owner’s responsibility to get their second dose or Revolution 6/2. They have playful spirits and are eager to find their new homes! If you are interested in meeting Addison, please let us know! July 20, 2026, 11:56 pm

Story
Baxter (A123973) is a 6-year-old DSH who weighed just under 15 pounds on intake! 07/19/26 This sweet guy is Baxter! Baxter was surrendered to the shelter due to his previous owner not being able to properly care for him anymore. Baxter was said to be a sweet but shy boy. He was said to be litterbox-trained and has used it consistently while at the shelter. He was also said to do well with other cats and dogs. However ensuring you are making appropriate introductions is important in helping set him up for success. He has found the shelter environment a tad scary, but is starting to decompress and let his loving personalities shine. He was said to love playing in boxes when they are left around and loves wet food. If you are interested in meeting Baxter, please let us know! July 20, 2026, 11:56 pm
