Not good with dogs,
Story
Genji is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gorgeous girl. She is a very social kitty and loves to be wherever her humans are. She'll greet you with her whole face and will often be curious about what you are doing. Her favourite time of the day is treat time, which is when she gets treats in her puzzle (which she is very good at) as well as a scavenger hunt for treats around the home. Genji enjoys lots of attention, including lots of pets, sitting on your lap, being brushed, or playing with her wand toys or tunnel. She loves her two beds, which she sleeps in regularly, as well as her cat tree for scratching and watching the outside world. When Genji came to VOKRA, she was extremely overweight, to the point where she was unable to groom herself. She has lost some weight, but needs to continue on with her weight loss journey. She developed some skin sensitivities and irritation from the lack of grooming in her bottom area and was placed on a diet of duck food. Happily Genji can now do her own grooming but this needs to be monitored. Genji would love to be in a home where she can be the only pet and centre of all the attention and love, and will return it in-kind. She would also prefer a home where her adopter is home at least part of the day to keep her company. If there are children in the home, they should be older. Do you have a home for this sweet girl?

Story
Meet Ebony, a dynamic diva, a beautiful belle, a vivacious vixen. Ebony is a fluffy, outgoing cat who loves attention and pets but also has limits to how and when she's handled. She will let you know with a bit of a swat if you're doing something that displeases her but she also really loves her people and can be quite affectionate. Because of her temperamental personality she is looking for a cat savvy home without children who allows her to rule as queen supreme. She has lived with other cats before but could occasionally be a bit domineering, so may be best as the only feline in the home. She would need proper, slow introductions to other animals in a new home. She may be a bit anxious in new environments and will need some love and time to adjust in her new home. Once comfortable she will really enjoy exploring her new home. Ebony is used to being a strictly indoor only cat. Adopt Ebony today, and welcome a lifetime of feline companionship into your heart. For adoption applications: 1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications, we will only be contacting suitable potential adopters to further review their interest. OR 2. Visit the Surrey BC SPCA at 16748 50 Ave, to meet Ebony and learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person. If you are invited to meet Ebony please come prepared with a cat carrier as we do same-day adoptions if the meet goes well. We recommend being prepared with a litter bin, litter, food and water dishes, and toys before bringing your new family member home. Primary Color: Black Weight: 3.88 Age: 8yrs 1mths 2wks

Not good with kids, Good with cats,
Story
This pretty little tuxedo, Philly, is ready to find her purr-ever home. Philly came to the SPCA with several other cats rescued from a rural property. She was a good mother to a litter of kittens when she came in and spent a few weeks in foster care raising them. They are now off to find their own homes while Philly looks for hers. She hasn't really had a proper home before and can be anxious at first in a new environment, retreating and hiding until she feels comfortable. Because she can be a bit anxious at first she would do best in a quiet home without young children. She would, however, likely do very well in a home with another feline friend or two to show her the ropes as she is used to living with other cats. This pretty lady just needs a loving, patient, and gentle guardian who will show her lots of love and help her blossom in her new world. Could you be the one to fill Philly's life with love? For adoption applications: 1. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit.
