At 8 months of age, I am already a professional lap warmer who loves to cuddle and purr away. As a devoted first time mom of a 9-week-old girl Eclipse, I taught her well. Billie is a friendly, playful, curious, and affectionate young cat. He is the more outgoing of the two and enjoys being around people, getting attention, and playing. He has a fun, energetic personality but also settles well in a normal home environment. He is social, sweet, and generally adjusts well once he feels comfortable. He has grown up with Fig/Miatuko and enjoys her companionship. Billie was adopted from the San José Animal Care Center in August 2024 when he was still very young. He has been an indoor cat ever since and has grown up alongside Fig/Miatuko. Unfortunately, due to major permanent changes in my housing, financial, and personal circumstances, including the possibility that I may need to remain outside the United States for an indefinite period, I am no longer able to guarantee the stable long-term home he deserves. I am trying to find him a loving permanent home proactively, before my situation becomes unstable. Billie would do well in a stable, loving indoor home where he receives regular attention, affection, and playtime. He is social and would likely enjoy a home where someone interacts with him regularly. He has lived very successfully with Fig/Miatuko and I would strongly prefer that they be adopted together if possible, although I understand placement may depend on the available home. I do not have enough experience with him around dogs or young children to confidently recommend either, so a thoughtful introduction would be best. Billie has no known special medical needs or significant behavioral concerns. He is neutered, microchipped, litter trained, and has received FVRCP and rabies vaccinations. He is an indoor cat and has generally been healthy. Full adoption, vaccination, and medical records can be provided. Miatuko is a gentle, sweet, affectionate cat with a quieter personality. She can be shy and cautious when meeting new people or entering a new environment, but once she feels safe and trusts someone, she becomes very affectionate and loving. She enjoys being petted and spending time near the people she is comfortable with. She has grown up with Billie/Oliver and is very comfortable around him. Miatuko was adopted from the San José Animal Care Center in August 2024 when she was still very young. She has been an indoor cat since adoption and has grown up alongside Billie/Oliver. Unfortunately, due to major permanent changes in my housing, financial, and personal circumstances, including the possibility that I may need to remain outside the United States for an indefinite period, I am no longer able to guarantee the stable long-term home she deserves. Because she is initially shy, a quieter household would likely make her transition easier. I do not have enough experience with her around dogs or young children to confidently recommend either. Thelma is the getaway driver and planner. She has a brown, orange, and white tabby coat. She is more chill than Louis, and while she isn’t afraid to get her paws dirty, at the end of the night she’s likely to be the first to snuggle in your lap. Thelma and Louis (originally Louise, but sometimes we get these things wrong) are best friends and must be adopted together. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.
