Story
Miss Willow has had quite the rollercoaster year. This sweet girl first came to us last summer when her previous owner had to surrender her. After a few months of waiting, she thought she had found her forever home in November—but sadly, she was recently returned because she wasn’t getting along with the other pets in the household. Willow tolerates other cats, but she much prefers her own space. However, when it comes to people, Willow is a total lovebug. She adores head scratches, will practically melt in your hands, and loves to roll around, showing off her adorable belly. Willow is an easygoing, low-maintenance kind of gal. Her daily agenda? Sunbathing on her cat tower, napping in cozy spots, and snuggling up next to you on the couch. She just wants a quiet, calm home where she can be the center of attention. No drama, no chaos—just love, cuddles, and maybe a few treats. At 4 years old, Willow is spayed, fully vetted, and FIV/FeLV negative. She’s ready to settle down for good this time, and we want to make sure her next home is truly her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and slightly sassy companion who will love you endlessly, Willow is your girl!

Cat-Friendly and Playful!!  Please meet Knobby, the newest member of the 'I can touch my nose with my tongue club!!'  Knobby enjoys playing with toys and really enjoys being petted. She gets along with other cats.  She can run, jump and play and climb cat trees with no problem at all.Knobby has permanent damage to her knees due to a chronic infection. She has been treated, and it has been resolved.  She has a funny walk, but it will not affect her quality of life.  She has some scar tissue, but it doesn’t cause her any pain.  It is unlikely that her hair will grow back on her knees.Knobby has been in foster care where she was able to recuperate and get lots of love and attention, along with getting plenty of exercise for her legs. Knobby would make a wonderful addition to a good, loving family. As is with most kittens/cats, Knobby will need some time to get acclimated to her new home and family.  Knobby is about 5 months old as of 3/16/2025. Knobby is now playing in our Brandywine PetSmart adoption center.  Please stop in to meet her and have some playtime!  Thank you!   https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.    (FOster:  MArgie D.)March 17, 2025, 6:21 am

Please meet Momma!  She came to Forgotten Cats with 6 newborn kittens.  After being a good mom, all 6 were adopted by loving people. So now, Momma is ready to find her forever home. She’s been sharing space with a few house cats and does ok. When the youngest kitty gets too playful, Momma lets her know. She likes to be pet and to be carried, briefly.  Momma prefers to lie in the sun or on her favorite scratching board. Momma is tiny, but loves food, just not big meals .  Momma has not been around children or dogs.   Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Denise P.)March 17, 2025, 6:21 am

Story
Please meet beauty Buttercup, NOT a yellow/orange cat.  She is friendly and vocal.  Maybe she is saying that she wants to be in a home. Buttercup is such a beauty! She has long, silky fur and interesting markings. Look at her super fluffy white chest and four pure white legs, all against the rest of her solid black fur. Buttercup was delighted to welcome me into the room she shares with other cats. This plush girl could not have been happier to soak in lots of pets and friendly chit chat. She pranced around near me, enjoying my attention, sometimes hopping up onto her back feet to give me a nice head bump. Maybe super model Buttercup will prance her way into your heart and home! Here is short video:  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SquxMr79k1U . Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Trainer) March 17, 2025, 5:36 am

Lap Cat Alert!!  Please meet Dustin!  He is an absolute lap cat who will curl up with you for hours if you let him.  He's a big boy at 11.5 pounds.
