You can apply for Sunshine at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab. Sunshine is a beautiful brown Tabby female cat, born approximately August 25, 2021. Sunshine was rescued with brothers and sisters from a large trash truck at a repair yard where they were not safe. She was lucky because a Good Samaritan trapped, spayed and got her all ready to be adopted, including her siblings. Sunshine is a gentle little girl but takes a little time to warm up to new situations and people. She is a shy girl but affectionate once she gains trust. She will rub on your legs to request a neck scratch or back massage. She loves to play with toys and the “cat ball track”. She gets along well with other kitties. She enjoys laying in the cat tree where she finds her peace. She needs someone that is patient and will give her time to settle into her new home. Sunshine is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed and vaccinated (including rabies). She is litter box trained. Moonshadow was abandoned or lost but attempts to locate her owner were unsuccessful. Her spicy spirit and playful nature is so much fun to watch. Fuzzy catnip toys and toy springs along with playing with the resident adult cats are her favorite things to do. She is comfortable in her environment and just the right amount of cattitude. We think she would love to own you and have you attend to all of her requirements, lol. She's just not sure about being owned! Moonshadow is spayed and microchip, she is FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and has all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies. She is litter box trained. Bella was found walking near a very busy street with a string in her mouth. Upon close inspection, it was discovered that it wasn't a string at all. It was fishing line with a hook lodged in her mouth. Bella was taken to a vet immediately so that they could remove the hook. She was so good that they didn't have to use any anesthesia! Bella likes to sleep in her foster mommy’s bed on top of her head.. purring and making biscuits. She is a little shy but she will give you unconditional love with a little bit of patience. She is super vocal when she hears you open the can of wet food or shake a bag of treats . She likes to play with small toys and roll around in the catnip for fun. Bella is spayed and microchipped, she is FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and has all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies. She is litter box trained. Ms. Kitty is a Mane Coon mix and was dumped on me by someone who started feeding her as a stray. I know little about her past but I have been feeding her and taking her for her shots for the last 5 years. My dogs do not get along with her at all. I think she has been a little traumatized by that and would do well in a house without dogs. She takes a little while to warm up to people. She is independent and does not like a ton of interaction or affection. Basically I need a house that loves cats to take her. All of her cat supplies that we currently have would go with her to her new home (bowls, cat tree, litter box, toys, etc...). Also, one of my children is allergic and will need to be out of the house by end of June.

Sami had shown up at a young man’s back patio in Miami and he contacted the rescue for help. He brought her to our vet where Sami was diagnosed with severe anemia. She was loaded with hookworms and fleas but is doing great now. Sami does have allergies, resulting in excessive scratching and does better on a restrictive diet. We are trying different proteins to see which one she does best on. She does love to eat! She loves to run, chase toys, occasionally plays fetch, and is a genuine love muffin. Sami will follow you around the house and is a purring machine! She likes to cuddle but is not keen on being held. Sami is okay with other cats and would be just fine if she was the center of your world. Sami is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated, including rabies. She is litter box trained.
