I found Felix as a tiny kitten wondering the streets. After taking him to the vet he was actually 3 months old at the time but underweight, malnourished, had worms and horrible diarrhea. It took a couple of months to nurse him back to health and he has turned into a barrel of laughs. He is very energetic and loves to play and is SO MUCH FUN!! I just had him neutered and he is doing great. He had the rabies vaccine, tested negative for feline leukemia and received the vaccine for that as well. He loves to play with other cats, however, all 4 of my other cats are seniors and do not want to play with him. Two of my 4 dogs do play with him quite a bit. He does place a toy at your feet from time to time for you to throw it for him. It's quite adorable.

Bugsy came to us as a stray a few months on our back patio. The local humane society noted that she was microchipped, however, the previous owners never came forward to claim her. We decided to adopt her after it was clear her previous owners were not going to retrieve her from the animal shelter. Bugsy is definitely one of the sweetest most loving fur babies we have had the privilege to spend time with. However, our current fur babies have been unable to accept her as part of the family so weve made the tough decision to look for another good home! Bugsy is a high-energy and very curious kitty, who will likely try and get into anything that you have out if you are not consistent with putting food away lol....and she is very demanding of attention (best cuddler) ☺️ She is full grown (almost 4 years old); overall appearance is one of an overgrown kitten (she is very small for a full grown cat). Bugsy does great with both kids and adults, and is friendly with other animals!

Hello. I am from Bel Air, Maryland. I moved to Winter Haven about a year and a half ago. Ruby was raised from a kitten. She is now three. She has always been a sweet and loving cat with a wonderful disposition. As a tabby she is rare because she is female. She is stunning. I have two cats and have to go down to one. I feel that because she is most adoptable, and because I am partial to the other one, I would like to give her a good home. Ruby would be a great addition to any home. She is attention seeking. Ruby will jump on a lap, purr and play. She likes stroking, and being combed. If a child were to pet her, she would collapse and let them rub her belly. She will rarely bite or scratch unless played hard with. She does have a micro chip. She has had shots but is due in January for them. If the new owner could take that over it would help me. I will give them all of her vet papers so that they know what to ask for. Ruby would work well really well for a retired couple.

This is a mother cat that was abandoned on my street. I have been caring for her and have found homes for her kittens. This sweet, loving mommy cat also needs a good loving home. I already have 5 cats so I am unable to afford another one. Rescue organizations in my local area are not accepting any cats and if I turn her into the animal shelter they have told me she will most likely be euthanized. She is such a sweet cat that I would like to save her and know she is in a loving home. Although I don't have much financial ability, I'm willing to contribute half of costs to get her spayed upon adoption. If interested please send message, call, or text me.

Bugs is a brown and white male Domestic Shorthair mix. He is approximately 8 months old. Bugs is an adorable boy. He is shy until he knows you and then he loves to be brushed. Bugs likes to play with his toys and enjoys rubbing himself in cat nip. He likes playing with any toy you give him and the other kittens in the room. We are open Tuesday - Friday from 10:30 to 6, Saturday from 10:30 to 4 (closed from 1-2 for lunch each day and the last Friday of the month).

Binxie is a black and white female Domestic Shorthair mix. She is approximately 2 years, 6 months old and has been spayed. Binxie has only had experience around adult men and women, so we are unsure how she would do with children. She gets along well with other cats and dogs and loves to run and play with them. Her favorite toys are bell balls and mouse toys! Binxie has been described as talkative, a lap cat, full of kisses, a climber, and very social with people. She is fully litter box trained and has not had any issues. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30 – 4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).
