Story
If anyone is looking for a cuddly cat, we've discovered an incredibly friendly colony cat who has untreated dog bite wounds on her back. They are starting to heal over but there is one that appears to be pus-filled and is starting to become infected. She does not have owner as she has not received any medical treatment. She comes when called, loves people and does not fear strangers at all. She will jump into my car when the door is open and try to come in through our front door. It's clear she wants to be with people, does not fear our dog when she comes outside. She will groom us and will sit in our laps and knead. I haven't gotten a look at her teeth and gums so I don't have a great age estimate but based on her activity level and body condition I would estimate she is pretty young. Please please please reach out if you are interested in a cuddly, people-loving cat. We will drive her to you, even if you are hours away because she desperately needs medical care and a loving home.

Story
My mother was found under a shed in Tarpon Springs pregnant. A nice lady rescued her and brought her to CJPaws to foster and have her kittens in a warm, safe home. I have 2 siblings and I love to play with dogs and cats and, especially, humans. Needs to be adopted with Elvis Presley. *** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please go to our website, http://www.cjpaws.org and visit the Adoptions page. *** Pets can be viewed by appointment only and an approved application is required to make an appointment to meet one of our animals. It can take up to 24 hours to respond to your application and an additional 1-2 business days to have your application approved. Not all applications will be approved. Applications that are incomplete will not be approved. Please include all veterinary information, as we will be contacting your veterinarian. If you have never had a pet before and thus do not have an established vet either in the area or in an area you previously lived in, we recommend adopting from your local Animal Services. Our adoption fee covers spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, monthly flea medication while in our rescue, any medications while in our rescue, an FIV/FeLV test, and the unconditional love of your new family member. Our rescue does not continue to pay for flea medication, vaccinations, deworming, or any other medications after the animal is adopted. All costs and fees accrued after adoption are the responsibility of the new family.

Story
Abbey is shy in new environments and takes some time to get comfortable, but once she knows she can trust you she is the sweetest companion! Abbey is not demanding of attention and is a rather "low maintenance" kind of kitty. When she't not enjoying a nap in a sunny window, she is happy just being near the people she loves. Abbey is a rather petite kitty (her tiny feet are so adorable!) and easily feels threatened by other cats with strong personalities, so she will do best as an only kitty or in a home with other gentle pets with shy personalities. *** To apply to adopt one of our animals, please go to our website, http://www.cjpaws.org and visit the Adoptions page. *** Pets can be viewed by appointment only and an approved application is required to make an appointment to meet one of our animals.
