All he wanted to do was get our attention and make friends!! He can often be found grooming his compatriots in our community room, and he loves to come right up to humans, too. He definitely has the ideal pet personality! He is a greeter, a lover, a chatter, and enjoys a good play or treat, too. Bear does test positive for FIV, which is a retrovirus he caught while on the street. FIV can only be spread among cats through drastic contact like deep bite wounds. . . cats with stable social structures in households do not pass the virus! I find that FIV positive cats tend to be the sweetest because they were the ones picked on. FIV requires no special medicine, just good food, an indoor home, prompt wellness care. . . the same as any Catsnap cat. Would you consider a perfect pet with a slightly lower immune system?
