Meet Spike! This Russian Blue/tabby mix boy, born in May 2026, has striking stripes over velvety gray fur, with a small white locket on his chest. Just look at his pictures, he's practically a model. Spike has never met a stranger in his life, he is everyone’s friend. He loves people, apparent by his quick purrs upon meeting, and makes fast friends with cats and kittens. His preferred seat is on top of any human, so he can purr and nuzzle into a neck. In addition to his sweet personality, Spike is also a fearless boy that will take on any toy he sees. Birds, balls, wand worms, he will hunt them all and show off his impressive jumping skills for any elusive toy. He likes to play with his kitten friends in his foster home so he would do best with a kitten friend of his very own, being adopted with another kitten or into a home with a welcoming resident cat. If Spike strikes your fancy and you have a lap in need of warming, he’s your man. All cats & kittens are up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Our kittens are cared for in loving foster homes throughout DuPage County. Once your adoption application has been reviewed, we'll contact approved applicants to arrange a meet-and-greet. The adoption fee is $125 for one kitten or $175 for two kittens adopted together. An adoption contract is required at the time of adoption. Spidey is equal parts sweet and spicy! True to his name, this small-but-mighty boy can climb and scale just about anything. He is feisty, rambunctious, and always ready to play, whether he is chasing strings, pouncing on toys, or sneaking up to “attack” when you least expect it. Spidey loves playing with other cats, although he takes his wet food very seriously and prefers not to share. Once he has finally worn himself out, he becomes a wonderful snuggler with an impressively loud purr. He even wags his tail like a dog when he is excited! Spidey may look solid black at first, but when the sunlight hits his coat, you can see his hidden tiger stripes. He also has the tiniest tuft of white fur on his chest. He is full of personality and mischief, including a habit of attempting to steal human food. Pumpkin muffins appear to be a particular weakness. Because Spidey can become rough when he is excited and playing, he would do best in a home without very young children. If you are looking for an energetic, entertaining kitten who will keep you laughing before curling up beside you, Spidey may be your perfect match!

Chandler, Joey and Phoebe are extremely adorable. They were born mid-March 2025 and adopted as kittens. Unfortunately, their owner couldn't keep them any longer and returned all 3.
