This wonderful little 2 month old (best guess) kitten showed up at my door and adopted ME! I cannot keep the kitty because I am highly allergic to cats. It cannot stay as an outside cat because there are many foxes in our neighborhood that have gradually eliminated all the other "outside" cats in our area. Also, I'll be leaving town in two weeks and have no one to house-sit Miss Kitty.This kitty is smart and bright, follows me in the yard like a puppy and is great with the little kids in the neighborhood. This is the perfect inside companion cat for someone. Does not bite or scratch at all; I bet it spent its early life inside before it ended up on my doorstep. I'm not a cat person, but if I wasn't so allergic, I sure would move this little darling inside for the long term.

Then email your application to animalshelter@callowaycountyky.gov, Adoption Fee: $60.00 Cash or Check (this includes the microchip! It also covers vaccines, fecal, and any medical attention the animal required while in our care.) An $80.00 good-faith deposit will be collected at the time of adoption. (If paying this fee by check, the check will be cashed.) This added spay/neuter step will assist in stopping the tide of animals that end up in shelters.
