Story
Meet Merlin! Merlin was found as a stray in during the coldest week of our winter in February, after he was thrown out by his previous owner. He had severe frost bite to his ears that resulted in him losing about half of his ear pinna (flap). The veterinarian is very pleased in how they are healing! Merlin is now looking for his family that will care for him for his furever. We were able to obtain his records from his previous home. His 7/3/24 birthday is accurate. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fiv/leukemia negative. Merlin is currently being fostered as an only pet, and his ideal home would be as an only pet. With time and space he may adjust to a cat or dog in the home if the other animal is respectful of his space during the adjustment time. When introduce to a cat and dog, he growled and hissed in the corner, but was never aggressive and did not run away. Merlin did well with a cat savvy toddler, but will give a tap of the paw when he needs space. Merlin is very playful! He loves the laser light and cat wand. He does enjoy attention from his people, but will let you know when he has had enough attention. If this post is still up, Merlin is still available. Story
We got Aster as a buddy for our adult female cat as my partner and I work full time, and we could tell she was getting lonely. Unfortunately our older cat hisses, scratches, and will attack Aster and has been doing so for the past 3-5 months. We have tried sent swapping, hormone diffusers and more but our older cat seems to have made up her mind and will simply not tolerate him. She’s been ignoring us ever since we brought him home and no longer sleeps near us like she used to. All that said Aster is great boy! He will cuddle with you and loves to brush up against your face. He’s got a ton of energy and loves toys. He has no issues eating and is completely comfortable using his litter box, and would do well with any owner. He grew up at a hoarders home with 12 other siblings and unfortunately they all caught respiratory infections. He’s since overcome his through countless medications but unfortunately had trouble meowing with laryngitis. He tries though and will let out a squeak!
