Story
Adoption fee for safety. In November she stumbled upon my porch so I took her in due to winter approaching and I couldnt stand to leave her out in the cold. Im due to have a baby in August and I cant afford to take her to necessary checkups/ get spayed. I want her to have a nice home who can afford to the the things for her that I can’t. She is a little over a year old im guessing because she looked like an older kitten when I found her. I have a cat tree, all litter needs including litter genie, food, and bed that can all go with you no charge.

Story
We got her from a breeder that said she wasn’t taking to her kittens. She is very affectionate and sweet. She loves cuddles and food. I’m going to college in the fall and none of my family members want her, she is a purebred Siberian with a certificate of pedigree. I’m asking for a $75 rehoming fee so she gets a loving and good home. She loves people/kids, and is not temperamental (except for nail trims/clippers). Her certificate says Alfa Snowy Hunter but we nicknamed her pearl. I was gone on vacation last month, so she has a few mats on her and is in need of some grooming.

Story
What can I say I'm a beautiful sleek silky black Diva. I'm hoping to find a furever home with a kitten or cat buddy. I love all my foster friends. I even live among dogs. I'm looking for a special family. I am very shy. My foster mom keeps saying I've come a long way. I was a very frightened kitten when she took me in. It took me several months to warm up to her. I still don't like being picked up but I do like my scratches and lots of petting. I would need a room to hang out in until I got adjusted to my new digs. I love my treats and my laser toy. Hope to meet you soon!**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**July 14, 2024, 10:19 am

Story
Templeton and his brother were taken from an especially rough hoarding situation. Police intervened and all animals were extracted. It took a while for Templeton to overcome his fear of being hurt, but he did it! And is he ever a silly boy! He would thrive in a home with another mild mannered cat, and currently lives with calm dogs. If you want to know more about this cat, email us here: wacvolunteers@gmail.com! * AGE: 2 years old * TEMPERAMENT: Lap cat, would be ok as a solitary or with another mild cat * Why are they at the shelter? Rescued by police * Any Health issues? None known but can be nervous in hectic surroundings * How are they with other cats? Dogs? Good but needs to be with gentle animals * Volunteer Comments? " Templeton is such a brave cat!" "He loves brushing and attention." Thank you for your interest in adopting a shelter cat! NOW HOW DO I MEET OR ADOPT THIS CAT? !. Go to our website at wacshelter.com. 2. Click on the "Apply To Adopt" button to submit an online adoption application. ** NOTE: You will get an email confirmation that we have received your application. If you do not see this email appear upon submission, please check your "spam" folder. 3. Your application will be processed and a volunteer adoption counselor will call or email with any questions. ** NOTE: If any questions are left unanswered or incomplete, the application cannot be processed. A completely filled out application will take 1-3 days to process! Missing or inaccurate answers may invalidate the application. 4. We will set up a time with you to meet the animal you've applied to adopt! ** NOTE: Our volunteers strive to make the best possible match once the application is accepted. Our goal is a fit that benefits both the cat and the home! ** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience. All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All cats are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help. Our adoption fee for felines is $65. That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test, deworming, flea prevention (if applicable) and vaccinations (if applicable). We look forward to meeting you! Please email us at wacvolunteers@gmail.com with any additional question ** NOTE: Be sure to check out our Facebook page at Wyandotte Animal Shelter (https://www.facebook.com/wacshelter/) for day to day updates on our cats and dogs. :)

Story
My name is John. I was born in October, 2021. I am a handsome gray dude. My foster mom's say I have come a long way. My sister and I take turns staying at each of our two-foster mom's homes. That is so we can get use to different surroundings. I used to be growly and hissy. I am still on the shy side. I would do best in a quiet home, a house without kids. I need someone who has patience in wanting me to interact. It might take a little time for me to feel comfortable and hang out with you. I get along with my foster kitties of all ages. I would love it if I could be adopted with my sister (Astrid). We understand each other. My sister (Astrid) and I have so much fun together. We love to bird watch and to catch flies. We like to play with everything, even with stuff we are not supposed to play with (lol). If you are in the kitchen or eating something while you are watching tv, we will meow at you. (That is telling you we want a bite to eat.) We are both easy to take care of.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. My name is Astrid. I was born in October, 2021. I have a unique coat color. I am a quiet and shy girl but very active. My foster moms said I have come a long way. My brother and I take turns staying at each of our two-foster mom's homes. That is so we can get used to different surroundings. I used to be growly and hissy. I am still timid, and on the shy side. I have been with other fosters kitties of all ages, but I was not nice to most of them. It would be great if I were adopted with my brother (John). We are so much alike. We have fun together. We like to play with our toys, and almost everything else(lol). We love to sit in the windows to bird watch and get crazy trying to catch a fly.
