Need to rehome two beautiful, sweet female cats. Orange tabby is the mother (Timber) and the tortie (Midnight) is the daughter. They are very sweet and would love for them to go together if possible. They deserve a very loving home, I am moving and can’t take them with me.

Story
Penny wandered into our yard one day following the smell of our grill. She was dirty, covered in bugs and extremely emaciated. She had an old flea collar on, so we assumed she belonged to someone. We fed her. She kept coming back. We live where there are coyotes and got concerned about her being left outside. I treated the bugs and eventually let her into our basement. I took her to the vet. We paid for her shots and for her to be fixed, totaling over $200. We would love to be able to keep her. She is so friendly and has never scratched anyone once! We have two other cats who have been very territorial ever since we brought her in the basement. She is great with young children. She gets along with dogs of all sizes. our cats don’t particularly like her, but she is not bothered by them. We want to find a forever home for her.

Story
Ms. B is a great kitty as long as it fits her agenda. Her favorite place to hang out is the bathroom to watch running water. I am in the process of moving so Ms. B is needing a new home with intoxicating running water. I put a $30 adoption fee on Cheescake hoping that only very interested individuals would adopt her. With that said, her adoption fee could be zeroed out for a loving and caring individual.

Story
Hello, I'm Beatrice! I'm looking for a cozy place to call home during my golden years after living it rough on the street. I may be a little shy, but I'm very affectionate with those I trust! I will happily purr and meow and butt my head into your hands. I like hanging out in little dens-- like a cardboard box, or maybe the cat tree penthouse-- just somewhere small where I can feel a little safer. I appreciate plush blankets I can knead my paws in, and love wet food treats. I always use my litter box and am a very clean and courteous companion. My foster says "Beatrice is a super sweet little cat. She is a little shy but she loves to be petted and to sit in a comfy spot. She really wants to be friends with the 6 month old kittens in her foster home."

Story
Hello, I'm Bastet! I came to CMHS recently after my family fell on hard times, and they wanted to make sure I was well taken care of. In my last home I lived with older children and another cat (Serket), and would likely adjust to others in a future home. I've been pretty stressed at the shelter, so I haven't been able to show off much of my personality. I can be a little more wary of new people and places, but once I settle in, my previous family said I was a good boy. I think I would like a nice quiet place to call home, with plenty of hiding places and cat trees to climb.

Story
Gretchen and Regina are very playful and affectionate kittens! Either they'll take turns sitting on my lap to get pets, or they'll squeeze on at the same time! They love running around or playing with toys together and like to cuddle as they nap. Since they've always lived together, it'll be best for them to stay together in their new home. They have lived with other cats and done well with slow introductions. They have lived with young children, but it was noted they would play a little rough sometimes. While I haven't had problems with them scratching/biting too hard, frequent nail trims and appropriate scratching facilities are important for any cat. They're very good at letting their nails be trimmed! It was also noted that they were having litter box issues in their previous home, urinating outside of the litter box frequently. They were treated for bladder inflammation/infections and ever since I brought them home, I've had them mainly closed in our bathroom and they use the litter box every time, even with rugs/blankets in the room. It'll be important for them to start in a bathroom/ small room so that they can get used to their new environment and litter box situation before giving them full access to the rest of their new home, slowly getting them used to where they're supposed to relieve themselves. Give these sweet girls a permanent home!
