Meet Noah! 🤎 This strikingly handsome 7 year old boy was returned to us when he become too overwhelmed by the newest addition of a newborn baby. Despite his size, Noah is just a big baby himself! Loud or sudden noises and movements spook him and his reaction is to run under his bed or up onto his cat tower.When Noah is feeling confident, he will greet you at the door with the smallest "meow" and rub his whole body on your legs. Sometimes when this occurs, he can overstimulate and give you a verbal warning that he does not want to be petted at this time. If you push his boundaries, he is not afraid to give you a little smack with his paw to tell you "Hey, I don't want that right now!"Noah is the type of cat who takes time to bond with a person and feels more comfortable with women. When he trusts you, he is the most loyal, affectionate and loving cat! This incredible connection will never be broken once he has "accepted" you. He will sleep in your lap, lick your face and purr like a motorboat! He will even follow you around and beg for pettings.Noah's ideal home would be without other animals or small children. Sweet Theo was found living in a small colony of cats in Passaic. He appeared to be a little older, and had clearly been previously TNRed (as evidenced by the ear tip), but he was just too sweet to be left to live outside.The Good Samaritan who brought him indoors could immediately tell that he was in need of dental care. Thankfully we were in a position to help and had the cat, now affectionately known as Theo, come in to see us. We found that Theo was already missing many teeth and had to have many of those that were remaining extracted. So now our gentle boy is only left with two. Both of which were buffed and polished. One of our wonderful fosters has welcomed him into their home as he awaits one of his very own. Momma Misty looking for a forever home! Her video is in the comment section! Misty is sweet, calm and mellow one year old gorgeous grey and white female. She jumps up on your leg or to your hand to get petted. She has a quiet, squeaky meow most of the time and regularly uses the silent meow. She is a petite little girl who will follow you around for attention but is not needy and likes to take naps by an open window. Very friendly and gets along well with other cats. She had 2 kittens who she was a wonderful mother to, and now is ready for a home of her own. Misty has a spay appt set up for next week, 7/22. She will be ready to be adopted after that.

Meet our talkative Tori!This chatty (and very gorgeous) girl came to us from a home where unfortunately the resident cats were left intact and allowed to continuously reproduce. When we were initially contacted about the situation we were thankfully in a position to take Tori and her siblings. Shortly thereafter we discovered that this very sweet young cat was born with a heart defect. She does not currently need any medication, but annual cardiologist appointments will be of the utmost importance to keep her happy and healthy.Aside from that, Tori loves to have conversations with her people and happily responds when she hears her name. She is extremely affectionate and can truly never get enough love. Meet Mac!Mac and his brother Jac (who has been adopted) were found in a Paterson house fire when they were just 5 weeks old. After getting life saving treatment and spending 2 weeks at the hospital, Mac has been in the shelter ever since. He gets along well with other cats as long as they don't try to steal his snacks. Mac loves people almost as much as he loves food. We don't know why he acts as if he's been starving all his life once food comes around, but he's been that way since he was a kitten. He really is just a big softie at heart and would never hurt a fly! He loves to be challenged for a treat, so slow feeders and food puzzles definitely keep him occupied.
