Story
Issac is patiently waiting for his forever human to find him. If you are human and are looking for the pretty much perfect cat, look no further! Issac was rescued as a stray when he found his way into a Walgreens store to keep warm during the freezing temperatures. His foster mom says that Issac is familiar with cat toys and knows exactly how to use the litterbox. He is the sweetest boy, absolutely loves attention and being petted. Issac eats well and is a healthy cat around 1 year old. He is a gorgeous black and tan short hair tiger stripped cat. Issac enjoys being around the other cats in the home. He has been a perfect house guest while in foster care, with absolutely no issues. Issac is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FELV tested negative. His adoption fee is $75. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Oatmeal is a handsome 5-month old male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on February 24, 2025 along with his two equally handsome brothers (Grits and Porridge) and his cute little sister (Coco Wheats). Unfortunately the individual who entrusted them to our care did not provide any information about them or where they were found. This awesome young man has a brown short smooth coat in a marbled tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with beautiful green/gold eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on his muzzle, and long white whiskers. Oatmeal has a sweet, easygoing personality Oatmeal and his brothers and currently sharing a large cat tower in the lobby of our shelter where, much to their delight, they engage in silly kitten games and then crash for group naps. We took updated ' big boy' photos of the three brothers on March 13th in their cat tower. Oatmeal was the sibling who chose to pose for his glamour photos inside a Friskies pate' box (hey .. it's a cat thing) .. And we had to admit he made a good choice! Oatmeal gets along well with children and other cats. Oatmeal was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on February 25, 2025. He weighed 5.1 lbs. that day. Oatmeal was given booster vaccines on March 10, 2025. Oatmeal will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on March 17th) and will be ready to find a fabulous home. Naturally we'd love to see him adopted with one of his brothers since kittens do so much better in pairs. Oatmeal is also available for rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
