Story
She is very sweet and friendly, but she wants to be the only cat in a home. She is used to primarily eating dry food (prefers Purina EN) but we found some Fancy Feast broth that she loves too. In the past she had trouble using a litter box for peeing, but she has not had any accidents in a couple of months. She is on Fluoxetine which is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily. This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator. The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks. This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now. We feel this gel does need to be continued with her. She would love to have a home of her own. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  All kitties have Home Again microchips implanted and are registered at no charge to the owner.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Sheridan in Tulsa on the east side of Sheridan behind Charlie’s Chicken.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Our website is www.streetcatstulsa.org and Facebook is www.facebook.com/streetcatsinc. All people wanting to adopt must come into StreetCats and have all members who live with them come in also.  We do not adopt out of the state of Oklahoma and prefer to adopt in the greater Tulsa area.  July 10, 2024, 12:29 pm

Story
Pluto is an all black male with green eyes who was found abandoned in an apartment complex. His estimated birthdate is 11/1/2021 and he weighs about 13 lbs. He was living with his rescuer but she could not keep him so he’s now in StreetCats. He is sweet and bubbly, loves to snuggle, expressive and goofy. He would love to find a kitty playmate either in StreetCats or in a new home. He does not seem to like tummy rubs even though he’ll roll over for you. He is cautious around dogs but not aggressive. He was adopted but the existing cat in the new home did not like him wanting to play so he came back to us 3/19/24 and we think it was a good decision. He tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and he got his rabies and FVRCP vaccinations on 11/2/23 at Ranch Acres Veterinary.  He has a PetLink microchip because he was chipped prior to coming into StreetCats.  It will be the adopter’s responsibility to get him re-registered with PetLink but there should not be a charge to do so.   Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Story
Pasta is a female red tabby with an estimated birthdate of 2/11/2020.  She was being cared for by a lady, but the woman moved and could not take her.  She is shy and tends to stay be herself since she was previously kept separate from other pets in the home.  However, the longer she was in StreetCats she was OK with other cats sharing her space in a red house.  All the new ones loved to snuggle up with her and she never got aggressive with them to leave her alone. She was adopted in early May along with Millie.  They had sometimes shared space in a red house, but once they got in their own new home, it did not work out.  While Millie was out and about, Pasta retreated to under a bed and didn’t want to come out.  Also Millie wanted her to come out and play but Pasta refused.  Her new dad felt it would be much better to return her so that hopefully she can find a new home as a single kitty.  She is back in her favorite red house on top of the cages in Smokey’s Room and she seems very contented and lets us pet her more than before while still be a little standoffish.  She’s also back to sharing space with another kitty in that small house once in while so it’s hard to say why her new home didn’t work out for her as they tried to keep her happy. Story
Gary is a brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 3/18/2023.  He weighs about 14 lbs. but he’s very active and jumps up on tables, etc. asking for attention.  He was originally a kitten at Feline Specialties but the lady who adopted him had too many cats now so she gave him up at Feline Specialties and we agreed to take him in.  He is very sweet and he loves to lick your fingers and share space with you. All cats have tested negative for FeLeuk/FIV and are current on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  He has a 911 PetChip microchip implanted and will be registered at no charge to his adopter.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Story
Felix is a brown tabby male with an estimated birthdate of 10/3/2022.  He previously lived with another cat and with children aged one and four and did well.  He and the dog in the home were not interested in each other.    Felix is a very sweet and laidback cat.  He loves to be petted, is friendly with people, and enjoys laying on top of cat tree and looking out a window.  He will be a wonderful cat for anyone. He is up to date on vaccinations and he was microchipped prior to coming into StreetCats.  He has a nano.tryfi microchip which the new owner can register on- line without a charge to the adopter.  Adoption fee - $75; If 65 years or older Adoption fee - $65; If adopting two cats - $135; If 65 years or older adopting two cats - $125.  StreetCats is located at 60th & S. Story
Marci is a darling tortoiseshell female with cream colors around her neck.  She came in weighing 8.6 lbs. and she’s learned to enjoy wet food since she only ate Taste of the Wild dry food previously.  She is shy but sweet and can be playful when she feels comfortable.  She lived with another cat previously but was afraid of it.  In StreetCats she isn’t buddies with other cats so she may prefer a home of her own without other pets (she has not been around children or dogs), but also someone who will pay a lot of attention to her.    She’s a cutie pie that you need to come in and meet.
