Story
**Funny - Active - Affectionate** Larkspur is a funny and playful tuxedo kitten with adorable white mittens and an adorable personality to match. Gentle by nature, Larkspur is happy to show you her belly and then playfully attack you. Born in her foster home, she's been handled by humans since her first day, which makes her affectionate and happy to be held and handled by people. She sleeps with her foster family every night and loves to be near them during the day. She is truly an all around wonderful, good-natured kitten.Larkspur is a special needs kitten and would love to be adopted with her sister and best friend, Lobelia, who is her twin in looks and personality. Both sisters have tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV), which means they will have a significantly shorter lifespan. But you can make whatever years they have full of love and joy, and they will pay you back in kind. A CAT Adoption Counselor can tell you more about feline leukemia and what to expect. Because she is positive for FeLV, she cannot be adopted into a home with resident cats, unless those cats are also FeLV positive. Dogs and other animals are perfectly fine. She will also do well with children.Despite her illness, Larkspur will bring her forever family lots of love, laughter and good times. And you can double that by adopting her with her sister Lobelia. She is currently living in her foster house in NW Portland. She is available to meet in person or over Zoom. Applications will be considered in the order they are received, but priority may be given to those who are willing to adopt both Larkspur and Lobelia. Please fill out a separate application for each kitten. Her foster family will reach out to you if your application is selected. If you have any questions you can email her foster family at kittenandflowerguy@gmail.com. Larkspur's adoption fee is $112.50. For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org. (rcs 7/6/24)This cat is currently in foster care. Meet-and-greets are available virtually or may be done in-person at the foster parent's residence. Adoption pick-ups may happen from the foster parent's residence. **Sweet - Playful - Loving** Sweet, funny, with a glossy, silky black coat, Lobelia is every bit the adorable tuxedo kitten - white mittens and all! Lobelia is an active, happy kitten, but also loves to be loved - purring when you pet her and rolling over to have her belly tickled. Born in her foster home, she's been handled by humans since her first day, which makes her affectionate and happy to be held and handled by people. Story
**Playful - Friendly - Lovable** This orange tabby boy has blossomed into a wonderful kitten over the past few weeks. When he first came to his new foster home, he was very shy and would run and hide whenever his foster parents came into his room. But with some tender loving care, and lots of treats, he has done a complete 180 and is now demanding pets and love. He will start purring the moment he sees you and he will not stop as long as you are willing to lavish him with attention. And like any young kitten, he is also very playful and loves to wrestle with his two sisters. He truly lives up to the good-natured personality associated with orange tabbies.Johnny is currently living in a foster home in NW Portland and is available to be viewed in person or over Zoom. He has already been neutered and is ready to move on to his new home as soon as the adoption process has been completed. Because of his past, he would probably do better in a quieter home without too much action or noise. He may take a little longer than usual to get comfortable in his new home, but with some patience, and a lot of treats, he will eventually let his true personality shine through. Most kittens will do well integrating into a house with cats, and we have no reason to believe Johnny won't as well. In fact, because he can be quite playful, we would recommend you have a kitty playmate for him. If you are looking for a pair of kittens, he would love to be adopted with either of his sisters (Violet or DragonFly). He will most likely tolerate well-behaved dogs. Children should not be a problem either, but very young children could be a little overwhelming for him.All applications for Johnny will be considered on a first come first served basis. His foster parents will reach out to you if you're next in line to meet him. If you are also interested in one of his sisters, please fill out a separate application for her as well. (smj 7/24) Johnny Jump Up's adoption fee is $225. For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org. (fk 6/24)This cat is currently in foster care. Story
**Lovable- Affectionate - Sweet** This sweet little all black girl is the perfect love bug. She is what we refer to as "obscenely lovable." Violet will knead and purr in your lap for as long as you let her. She loves people and will go wherever you are to get the attention she craves. She has a sweet and gentle personality but can also be playful when the mood strikes her. She is soft and fluffy but perhaps a little smaller than average for her age. Most kittens will do well integrating into a house with cats, and we have no reason to believe Violet won't as well. She would do fine as an only cat but like all kittens, would prefer a kitty playmate. If you are looking for a pair of kittens, she would love to be adopted with either her sister Dragon Fly or her brother Johnny Jump Up. She will most likely tolerate well-behaved dogs. Children should not be a problem either.Violet is currently in a foster home in NW Portland. You may meet her in person at her foster family's house or over Zoom. All applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis. Her foster family will reach out to you if you are next in line to meet her. If you are also interested in adopting her brother or sister, please fill out an application for them as well. (smj 7/24)Violet's adoption fee is $225.
