Adoption Donation    $    299     Located: in MS (Transportation costs included to the Northeast, plz ask for more details )    Age:   10 weeks old as of 06/19/2026 Weight:   lbs      If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:    friendsoha@yahoo.com   Please verify the location and readiness of this cat with us.  Because we save lives from various locations throughout the United States, some cats may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) reserves the right to deny any adoption application with or without disclosure of cause. Your adoption fee helps to cover the cost of all age appropriate vetting and transportation. FOHARI.ORG makes no explicit or implicit guarantees in reference to the health, temperament and/or the breed of the animal. The animal is adopted ‘as is’, and the adopter assumes all responsibility for treatment of any and all existing conditions or any other conditions of physical or temperament changes that may occur. FOHARI.ORG will provide the animal with the basic vaccines, heart worm test and sterilization of dogs and cats before adoption if the age and current health of the animal permits. While FOHARI.ORG makes every effort to place only healthy animals, FOHARI.ORG cannot guarantee the health of any animal, and shall not be held responsible for any medical expenses that may be incurred. Rescuer will provide information received from the veterinarian exam, observations on the temperament of the animal and a best guess of the breed. Friends of Homeless Animals Inc. Story
Midnight's Story First off - Midnight has a white spot on the end of his tail. We speculate that is where he keeps his magic for making everyone who meets him fall instantly in love! Midnight is the sweetest, gentlest, softest cat you could hope to meet. His favorite place in the world is curled up beside his people. When Midnight's beloved person passed away, he lost his home. Thankfully, the heroes at Providence Animal Control took him in, and he is now thriving in a foster home while he waits for his forever family. Despite everything he's been through, Midnight has shown himself to be incredibly loving and trusting. Within just a day of arriving, he was snuggled up on the couch, purring contentedly and reaching out a paw to gently touch his foster mom. Midnight is ready to spend the rest of his life loving and being loved. He enjoys stretching out in sunny spots, happily kneading his kitty bed, batting around his favorite catnip toys, and, above all, being close to his people. He'll remind you every day what a gift it is to be loved by a cat. He's also an absolute gentleman around the house. Midnight has perfect litter box habits, is respectful of his surroundings, and isn't destructive. He is an easy, appreciative companion who will settle beautifully into home life. Whoever welcomes Midnight into their family won't just be adopting a cat—they'll be getting a devoted companion and best friend. To learn more about Midnight, email his foster mom at HDRJennyR@gmail.com, or visit handsomedansrescue.org to submit an adoption application.

Ariel was found as a pregnant stray and brought safely into rescue, where she was able to raise her babies in a loving foster home. She has been a wonderful mother, and now that her kittens are growing up, its finally Ariels turn to find a forever family of her own. This sweet girl has a gentle, loving personality and enjoys attention from her people. After spending so much time caring for her babies, she deserves a home where she can be spoiled, cherished, and loved for the rest of her life. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate companion with a unique story, Ariel may be the perfect addition to your family. Meet Marlin! Adoption fee: $299 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 We have a lot of kittens available for adoption, so please be sure to look at all of the kittens we have! Marlin is a beautiful little kitten with a sweet personality and a whole lot of love packed into one tiny package! He's playful, curious, affectionate, and loves having another kitten around to wrestle, chase, and curl up with when playtime is over. We estimate Marlin was born around the first week of June, so he's at that wonderful kitten age where everything is an adventure and everyone is a potential new best friend. Marlins story began when he was found wandering completely alone. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan spotted this tiny boy, scooped him up, and made sure he found his way safely into our rescue. We don't know how he ended up on his own, but we do know those lonely days are behind him. Marlin is now thriving in a loving foster home with Angie, another one of our adorable kittens. The two have become wonderful little companions, so if you've been thinking about adding two kittens to your family, Marlin and Angie would make a perfect pair! Kittens are happiest when they have a young feline friend to grow up with, so we would love to see Marlin adopted with Angie. If you already have a young, playful cat at home looking for a buddy, Marlin would be happy with that too. From a little kitten wandering all alone to a happy boy surrounded by love, Marlin is ready for the best part of his story — a forever family of his own. Apply today to adopt Marlin — or make it twice as sweet and bring home Marlin & Angie together! We do offer a discount when adopting more than one pet.
