Ideal Home: A quiet home where he can be the pampered king of the castle. We are delighted to tell you that we have a ray of sunshine to light up your life! Meet Mishu, a purrfect calm elderly gentleman looking for a nice, warm place by your side to enjoy his golden years. Mishu adores being with his person and giving all the love and snuggles you could ever ask for. Mishu has some arthritis and his renal numbers are borderline, which is typical for aging felines. He enjoys his meals and treats despite missing some teeth! This lovebug enjoys close contact with his person, chin rubs and brushing sessions. He is a heat-seeker who will lean against your side and snuggle with you in bed, but lap-sitting is not his style. He has stolen our hearts and now he’s ready to settle into his forever home. Just look at that face, how can you not warm right up with love!Mishu was very excited when we told him he should be getting adoption applications soon. Don’t miss your chance at this sweet boy, you can find them below today! Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/Please Note:If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
