Buddy thought at one time he could live life as a feral and on his own.  He found out differently by walking on that wild side.  Weight: 13lb Height: 7 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes and ear-tipped! Adoption Fee: $1 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Buddy is an elusive grey and black little guy who enjoys escaping from his home, he's slipped out on us three times but always managed to return home. Once inside he enjoys finding hiding places. I guess you could say the little guy is a tad antisocial. Buddy needs an adopter that will accept him on his terms. He's not the type of cat that will sit in your lap or cuddle up in bed with you. At least not yet. Buddy may warm to his adopter if you give him time to adjust to his new surroundings and let him come to you when he's ready. Treats will always help him be ready. Buddy is the type of cat most people associate with cats. He lives life on his terms, and you'll have to abide by them. Imagine how rewarding it will be on the day when he finally jumps into your lap and states, yes human, you are mine! What is my personality like? Buddy's personality is what most people believe a typical cat is like. But Buddy isn't typical at all. He's just an independent little guy who likes to make you seek him out inside and out. It's best to ensure he is safe inside. How do I act when I first meet new people? Buddy isn't warm and fuzzy when meeting people. He tends to run and hide from them. He does seem to like women better than men. The day Buddy warms to you is a day to mark on your calendar and celebrate. It will happen, it's just going to take time. Other tips and tidbits: Buddy is estimated to have been born on or about 11/14/2022. House trained? Buddy uses his litter box. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home.   You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc.  Others here may be a better fit for you.  It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description.  Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a  dog not in our listings yet.  We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. DOB: 10/10/23 This girl is your snuggle bug!! She's always purring and happy to see you. She will be playing but will always make time to say hello. Ethel is more reserved than her sister Lucy and is happy to stay in the same room as her person. She loves to be held like a human baby and will stay there as long as you scratch her chin. ##2010754##

Humphrey loves to sing a duet with his kitty friends. When not singing, he relaxes and watches his sibling roll each other around. He is a bit timid, but warms up with patience and love. He is cat, dog, and child friendly. DOB: 5/7/22 ##1939072##

DOB 12/01/21 Cosmo is a very sweet and calm young adult female. She is very calm and gets along great with other cats and even well behaved cat friendly dogs and older children. She loves all the pets and will thank you with finger kisses for an occasional treat. She is so smart, you can see the intelligence in her beautiful big eyes and she quickly learns new routines and adjusts to every situation so well. She would thrive in a home with a cat companion to spend her time cuddled up next to. Although not a high energy kitty, she will show off her kitten side with a laser toy in an instant! She is the perfect snuggle up lap kitty once she has a chance to get comfortable and learn your routine.  ##2009754##

DOB 6/10/23 I can be a bit shy at first, but with patience I will warm up! I am great living with other cats, but I have not been around dogs. With your love and patience I could be a great snuggler! ##2077647##
