Story
Pete is a dilute orange kitten with a big personality packed into a tiny, fluffy body! This little guy is a whole lot of kitten—curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he's chasing toy mice, pouncing on feather toys, or convincing his feline friends to join in on the fun, Pete knows how to keep the party going. But after a good round of playtime, Pete is happy to trade his zoomies for some well-earned relaxation. He has a sweet side that shines through once he's had a chance to burn off his kitten energy, making him the perfect mix of playful companion and cuddle buddy. Pete absolutely loves other cats and would thrive with a feline friend to help him continue his adventures. If you're looking for a fun-loving kitten with a goofy streak and a heart full of orange-cat charm, Pete might just be your guy! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Story
Rules? Max prefers to think of them as... suggestions. This young orange troublemaker has never met a closed door he didn't want to investigate or a countertop he didn't consider a personal challenge. Curious, confident, and just a little rebellious, Max believes life is meant to be explored one mischievous adventure at a time. Once he's thoroughly inspected every corner of the house (and probably found a few places you forgot existed), Max is ready to clock out and enjoy the finer things in life—a plush bed, a sunny windowsill, and plenty of well-earned naps. He's got the perfect balance of playful chaos and cozy companion, keeping you entertained before curling up beside you like the little king he knows he is. If you're looking for a kitten with personality, charm, and just enough mischief to keep life interesting, Max is ready to rule your home... on his own terms, of course. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend!
