Story
Maranda is my elderly neighbor’s cat. He took ill and won’t be coming home. She has been placed outside to fend for herself, which she doesn’t know how to do. She is about 10 years old, small and gentle. She has been an indoor cat. She is fixed. She needs a gentle loving home to go to. Thank you.

Story
Meet Ella, she is a sweet calico cat, shes 6 years old. She is shy at first and takes a little for her to warm up, but once she does shesvery sweet and cuddly, loves cuddling to sleep. Her favorite toy is the little mice toys, she loves tossing them in the air and throwing them around. I say shes not good with kids cause she does get a little annoyed easily, she doesnt attack she just takes off or hisses, but she is still very loving when she warms up and also can be very independent! :)

Meet Cheddar, hes the sweetest cat you will ever meet. Loves being held and loved on, he absolutely loves snuggles and loves to play. He is three years old, his previous owners were not the nicest so he does have a not so great past and is missing a toe due to it, but hes the sweetest boy and I want the absolute best home for him.

Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted 8/19/14, and pictures taken 8/6/14.  Heather was trapped at an elderly woman's home in Jacksonville on 6/17/14, and delivered 4 babies overnight before she was to be spayed.  The elderly woman already has 15 to 18 adult cats and two litters of kittens.  We kept Heather and her kittens in our isolation room after they were born for privacy, and she has since been spayed.  She has the shape of a Siamese, but is Black, and there were two Siamese and a Snowshoe at the house.  I believe this is her first litter.  She was a feral cat, but her hormones turned her into a cat that just wanted to be pet all the time.  Now that some time has passed after being spayed, she is back to being skittish, so she needs a home that knows how to work with her, and will be patient.  She would need to start out in a small room like a bathroom, so a person can sit down with her without her being able to hide.  A long handled brush can be used, as well as catnip, and small amounts of can food to help the bonding process.  She runs from me, but once I have her in a certain spot where she can't run anymore, she will let me pet her, even though she hisses at me.  She can be around older children, but I would not put her around small children, unless she becomes very affectionate, which can happen once someone can spend the time with her that is needed. D.O.B.:     ? October 2013Weight:     6.6 - 7/8/14 Our adoption contracts prohibit declawing of any kittens or cats, it is cruel, can traumatize the pet, and make the pet defenseless if the pet should get outside.  We encourage people to search for kittens and cats already declawed that need to find a new home. $15 adoption fee if placed as a barn cat.  $70 adoption fee if placed in a home, which will pay for her spay and vaccinations.July 12, 2024, 4:27 pm

Egypt's mom is Lady.  She is very playful, but also quite proud.  She needs someone just as special to love her.  She likes to have fun, and then lays right next to me or in my lap.  She has never been outside and uses a litter box.  She was raised with dogs and has no fear, so you will have to make certain you pick out her playmates carefully so she does not get hurt for trusting the wrong person or dog.
