Story
Smokey's story begins when he was brought in the animal center with his mom and siblings after being found in a barn. He had a little rougher time than his siblings, as he had been attacked by something and had infected bite wounds. Because of this, and because they were so tiny everyone was moved to a foster home to have a quieter and stable environment to relax and grow. Everyone received names inspired by singers, so they were called the "Glee Club litter. Since then, the 'Glee Club' troubles continued and they all came down with panleukopenia (also sometimes called Feline Distemper or Feline Parvo) and then subsequent secondary infection due to a stressed immune system. But, they are fighters and everyone has made it through and now are healthy and looking for love. Smokey aspires to cash in on his atypical Siamese Mix markings by becoming the next brand ambassador for the 'Got Milk' ad campaign. He thinks his natural milk mustache and dipped paws will give him the paw up on the competition to make the cut. Besides his obvious assets he also is a lynx point and has subtle tabby markings to go along with his chocolate points. While a very sweet boy, he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, so we hope his modeling aspirations work out for him. Smokey loves to cuddle and be held like a baby. He will often fall asleep this way and loves sleeping the same way in the kitty hammock. He, like the rest of the "Glee Club, has found his voice and uses it! Smokey will play with just about anything, but appears to love to chase the spring toy the most. Smokey is currently in a foster home, and not housed at the BCAS building, please place an application to show interest and give us your contact information to move forward.
