Story
We adopted Ivie in 2021 from the Utah Valley Animal Rescue center at PetSmart. She’s about three years old and is an indoor cat with a slightly skittish personality. Ivie is afraid of the outdoors but loves gentle touches and occasional snuggles. She’s incredibly low-maintenance, enjoying quiet moments to lounge around. While Ivie values her personal space, she also likes to be near the action. She has done well around small dogs (we haven’t introduced her to larger dogs) and doesn’t disturb our kids (ages 2 and 3 months), though she doesn’t show much interest in interacting with them either.

Story
We are beyond sad to be getting rid of our cat. We travel often and feel bad that he is stuck inside all day long with nothing to do. We want to find a home that either has a yard he can run around in or has owners/kids that will give him the attention he deserves. Yes, he is potty trained. We will happily use kitty litter if you do not want him to use your toilet but we gladly trained him to use the toilet to get rid of the smell and mess of litter.

Story
Tiger came to the shelter on September 22, 2024 by a lady who told us he was a stray. It was noted that Tiger had a tipped ear (meaning he had been trapped fixed and release at some point in time. This was no feral cat who only wanted to be petted and purred constantly even though he was very ill. Tiger was very sick with severe eye and generalized infection. Tiger went to the doctor and was given 3 different medications. Tiger improved with the medication and car he received and was taken back to the vet for a recheck. It was then that the veterinarians noted that Tiger had undergone a specialized surgery at sometime during his life which is usually done on male cats who have an issue with bladder stones. Without knowing Tiger’s history it is believed he had a Perineal urethrostomy (PU) which is a surgical procedure that can help male cats with recurrent bladder stones by widening their urethra and reducing the risk of future blockages . Tiger has made a remarkable recovery and is now enjoying life at the shelter, getting all the attention he deserves, Playing with toys including stuffed mice, balls, wand toys and springs. He enjoys watching the birds out the window, will come when called and jump on your lap for attention and loves being brushed and he looks like he is smiling while being brushed around his head ad face. Tiger will need to be on a special diet and we are anticipating no other problems. He had an x-ray to be sure he does not have any bladder stones and is current on his rabies vaccination. Tiger does not like dogs nor is he fond of the other cats in the room. He will do best in a home where he will be the only animal to get all the attention. We are unsure of his age and are estimating 4-5 years old. Whoever had this cat must of loved him to spend thousands of dollars on the surgery. We don’t know how he ended up on the streets but he deserves a home of his own. Please call 702 346 5268 to set up a time to meet Tiger
