This boy loves to settle in the crook of your arm and purr in neutral as dreams overtake you and him. He loves drive-by pets throughout the day, as well. Krispin has all the panche of a white cat with enough of an orange kitty to keep life interesting. He is a sweet, friendly boy who wants to be around his people. Krispin is living with a 57 lb dog, 4 foster kittens, and 5 cats. He has good cat manners. He would integrate into a family with other pets, but could also be okay as an only pet. He is very consistent with his litter box. Mittens has the kind of face that makes you instinctively whisper, “You’re so little.” At just over 2 lbs, she’s still very much a baby, complete with oversized ears, wide green eyes, and the fluffiest tortoiseshell coat that looks like someone painted it with smoky charcoal and warm caramel. She’s absolutely breathtaking and she knows the world is still a pretty big place. Go watch Mittens, the Tiny Tortie on YouTube, then come right back to read more! She appears to be a fluffy tortoiseshell kitten, though as with all rescue kittens, her breed is simply our best educated guess. Mittens is part of the Cozy Litter, a trio of kittens discovering just how exciting life can be. She likes to take a little extra time before jumping into new situations, but once she feels comfortable, she's every bit the playful kitten you'd expect. Wand toys quickly caught her attention, and she had the best time chasing after them before darting off to romp around with her siblings. Watching her confidence grow, even over a short visit, was incredibly rewarding. During our time together, Mittens needed a little extra reassurance while she figured out this new experience. She was quick to let us know she wasn't quite sure about everything yet, but the best part came later. Once she realized she was safe, she relaxed completely, curled up in one of our director's arms, and drifted off for a nap. It was such a beautiful glimpse of the affectionate little kitten waiting beneath those first-day jitters. Like all kittens her age, Mittens is still learning that the world is full of wonderful things. She'll thrive with a family that lets her move at her own pace while encouraging her playful side to shine. As of September 9, these little ones weighed just 1–1.3 pounds. They were incredibly tiny for their age — but thankfully, they are now in loving care and making up for lost time! Since arriving with us, they have absolutely devoured both wet and dry kitten food and are gaining weight quickly. Their progress has been wonderful to watch. You may notice that some of their intake photos make them look a little scared. Those pictures were taken when they first arrived, and they were understandably overwhelmed by all the changes. But just 24 hours later, they had already relaxed, come out of their shells, and started showing us who they really are. And who they really are? Absolute sweethearts. Greywind is an affectionate, loving 8 year old Russian Blue female that gets along great with other animals and people. She enjoys daily pets and snuggles, while also having time to herself. Easy to care for, fully litter box trained and an all indoor cat. Has never had any health issues. She is looking for a home that can offer her daily affection and attention she craves. Unable to bring her with us as we are relocating across the country.
