UPDATE FROM FOSTER FAMILY:Persephone is now in foster care as she was quite the scaredy cat in the shelter. Now in a home, she comes out of her shell more and more, day by day. She is discerning, bossy, and absolutely precious. Persephone loves to spend time with people, playing and snuggling in their laps. She has a big appetite for food and attention, and she will find her way to it, no matter what leaps it takes. She is the softest kitten with the sharpest tongue. She will exfoliate your whole face, if you let her. After a few hissy-hellos, Persephone now gets along with our many cats and dogs. After days of hiding, she is now practicing stalking her friends but has yet to take a pounce. She loves chasing toys that roll and jingle. She will be a good little hunter when she grows up, if that's what you're looking for. She is litter trained. She loves to groom herself and others, so responsible. Persephone would do well solo or in a house with other pets. She would do well with children as she rarely uses her claws and teeth on people when playing (and if so, does it gently). She will likely show some regression in her courageousness when she joins your home, but you will then get to enjoy the magic of gaining her trust and watching her blossom. Persephone is a sweet 15-week-old girl who is very shy at the shelter but is warming up and loves playing with toys. She has been spayed and is current on vaccines. She would do well with another kitty in the house to help her become more confident with new surroundings. Her favorite places to be scratched are under the chin and behind her ears; she leans right in for more! She is spunky and loves toys with balls in them so she can swat them around and around the circle pieces. Persephone is heading into foster care this week and will get updates on her true personality outside of the shelter“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
