MEET BEAR! Bear is part of a bonded pair of Catahoulas recently rescued from a very full California shelter. Bear, 5-year-old, 58-pound male dark Catahoula, and Sadie, a 6-year-old, 40-pound tan/brown Catahoula, were adopted from the shelter in 2018. They were returned back to the shelter because of a death in the family and the owners had to move out of state to help with the grandkids. Bear & Sadie are good with both children and other dogs. They are housebroken, chipped, spayed/neutered, and up-to-date on their vaccines. They are a sweet middle-aged pair who need a home together. Please email for an application.

Puppy kisses and puppy love...that's out Freckles! This handsome boy is a 4 month old, Catahoula Leopard/Australian Shepherd mix that is the cutest pup ever! Freckles came to us when he was being given away for free with his sister in front of a Walmart. Thankfully a kind woman saw the two puppies and knew that they could end up in the wrong hands so she took them home and reached out to us to see if we could take them into our foundation and we said yes! Freckles is a happy, playful, and energetic pup! He is a sweet dog with lots of love to give! A puppy savvy home would be ideal along with owners that are not gone long hours during the day. A safe and secure backyard would be amazing for this playful boy. A home that will walk, run, and exercise is exactly what he needs! Freckles definitely needs another young and playful dog in the home or ideally he could be adopted with his sister, Luna, a 4 month old Lab mix. Both Freckles and Luna are such sweet, loving, and fun puppies that deserve the best forever home out there! Freckles is microchipped, vaccinated, and will be neutered at the appropriate age. Cheyenne is a 7 year old deaf Catahoula Leopard Hound mix. She came to us from a kill shelter in Alabama. She’s a beautiful girl who is a bit on the shy side, gentle, and she has lived with other dogs. Oh, and she’s a looker, too, with those bright blue eyes and merle coat. Cheyenne is a graduate of our Group Training Class, Basic Obedience. We wouldn't recommend that Cheyenne live with children, she prefers a quiet adult household. She would do best as an only dog. We're not sure about cats.
