Meet Cash, a stunning 2-year-old purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog with a big heart and even bigger personality. I rescued Cash from a previous home where he was crated pretty much day and night and wasn’t given proper nutrition or vet care. I’m looking to rehome him to a loving, forever home where he can truly live the life he deserves. Cash thinks he’s a lapdog and loves being close to his people. He’s happiest running around the yard, tossing his stuffed toys, going to the dog park, riding in the car, or munching on carrots. He absolutely loves everyone he meets, including other dogs and people of all ages. He’s incredibly affectionate, eager to please, and just wants to be part of the family. He’d thrive with an active owner or a fenced yard where he can run and play. Cash is more than a pet—he’s a loyal, loving companion ready to bring joy to his forever home.

Luna does require some assistance with expressing her bladder, but the love and companionship she offers in return are immeasurable. Dixie and Britten were transferred in from Glynn County Animal Services. They definitely appear to be Catahoula Leopard mixes. Also, we believe that Dixie is most likely Britten`s mom. We aren`t privy to how they ended up at an animal control facility. We are guessing they were strays. Dixie and Britten have the usual personalities of this breed. Very alert, nose to the ground, taking in all the news and somewhat independent. Catahoulas are a working breed, so it would be a great idea to research them before adopting. Certainly you couldn`t ask for more dedicated, loyal dogs. Dixie and Britten are good with other dogs. Although they won`t win any awards for walking on a leash, they do pretty well. Of course, practice makes perfect! Britten tested heartworm negative on arrival. Dixie tested heartworm positive, and is available as a foster to adopt. She will of course be treated here. Email reception@hsscg.org for an appointment to meet these lovely ladies. Alternatively you can just come on in. We are open 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. Both are spayed, microchipped and current on core vaccines.
