Story
Luna is a super sweet Catahoula Leopard dog mixed with Aussie. She would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard, and another active, energetic dog to play with. Luna is a special needs dog because she needs help emptying her bladder. When she was just a young pup she and another dog got loose and went into a neighbor's yard where they were shot. The dog she was with was killed and she was shot in the back as she was running away. Thankfully she survived and is now recovered and can walk fine but she doesn't have any feeling back there, so she needs to wear diapers indoors, and she needs help expressing her bladder. We know that involves extra work, but it's not very difficult at all. We amputated her tail to make cleaning her easier. We're hoping you will open your heart to this super sweet, gorgeous, very special girl. If you are interested in learning more about this dog, please complete an application by visiting http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt. We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover to ensure a good fit for everyone. ***Please note that we are a volunteer run organization, and due to the large volume of applications, inquiries, phone calls, emails, and messages received we may not be able to provide a personal response to every one. For that reason, formal applications will be given priority over the aforementioned.*** Adoption Process 1. Submit Application 2. Interview 3. Home Check 4. Meet the Pet The adoption fee for dogs 6 months and older is $150; this includes the spay/neuter, microchip, and current vaccinations as of the date of adoption.

Story
Hey there, my name is Fae! I was hand selected for K9's For Warriors service dog program from Flagler Humane Society and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9's in February of this year, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living. While I may be a bit shy making new friends at first, I bond very strongly with my humans once given a chance. My ideal day would be spending time sunbathing on a nice sunny day, and also indulging in zoomies when I get super excited! My personal favorite pass time is chowing down on a tasty chew bone, but don't be fooled by my chewing skills because I take good care of my soft stuffies. I would prefer a calmer environment where I can be the only dog and get all the affection for myself! Although I didn't want to have a full-time job, I am very food motivated and eager to please. I even already know most of my basic cues! I am crate trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and eagerly waiting for my furever home! If you are considering adopting Fae, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to assist you in finding your furever friend!

Story
Hii! so my husband got mandy at a cat sanctuary for disabled cats…she and her siblings were the only pups ….she is about 3 years old. she is very amazing around other dogs and kids, but she does have a lot of energy and needs a family that has time for her. my husband works 12+ hours and we have a 7 month old and with schedules it just isn’t fair for her …she does have a bit of separation anxiety, she’s very gentle and cuddly. we just need someone who can make time for her.

Baylor is an affectionate and loving pup who adores spending time with his foster siblings and parents. He enjoys soaking up the sun outdoors, especially while lounging and cuddling. A recent discovery of toys has captured Baylor's heart, making playtime one of his favorite activities. This delightful dog is also fond of water, whether it's bath time or prancing through the pond! Highly food motivated, Baylor excels in training, eagerly learning basic commands and perfecting his leash-walking skills. This social pup thrives on interaction and closeness, always seeking to be by your side or in the company of his foster siblings, eager to share kisses. Baylor's friendly nature extends to humans of all ages and other dogs, making him a fantastic companion for families. However, his feelings towards cats are yet to be determined.
