If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting:  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.  Dog's Name:  Baby Nala (NAL0125JNSFD)Estimated Breed:  Catahoula Leopard Dog mix Approximate Age:  11 weeks Approximate Weight:  13 LBS Currently Living at:  Foster Adoption Fee:  $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Hi there, I'm Baby Nala! I came from an overcrowded shelter in Johnson City, Tennessee. The shelter is a scary place for a little puppy like me, but things are looking up now as I have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and given a second chance at life. I'm hoping to find my forever home. Could that be with you? Besides being totally adorable, I'm super sweet and friendly. I adore playtime and just love other dogs. Ay my young age, I'm in my prime for training and socialization too. I will make a great addition to an active home. I can't wait to find my forever home where I can share all my love and joy. Adopting me means adding endless love and companionship to your life! Submit an application today!  Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
Sadie was born in October, 2023 and came to me at 2 months. She is a smart dog but has so much energy and needs room to run and someone with energy to run with her. As she grew it became obvious that my grandson who suffers from allergies/asthma is allergic to her hair. He is unable to visit for more than an hour or so and then has to leave. Sadie is very enthusiastic and loves to play, especially loves deer. (she can't catch them). I hope she can find someone to love her and give her the kind of home and attention that I can't. She deserves it.
