Story
Hi, I am Rachel!   I was born on March 31st, so I am 5-months old.   My dad was a shepherd mix and my mom was a Catahoula mix, that makes me awesome mix!    Let’s talk a little about me, I am a good girl, I will sit to wait for you to give me pets and love, but sometimes I just can’t wait for pets and jump up, but my foster mom says I can’t do that because when I get bigger it won’t be cute anymore.   At my foster home, I just can’t get enough pets and love from the humans, when u am outside I like to wander around the yard and see what everyone else is doing, my favorite thing is chasing my foster friend while he is playing fetch.     when my foster family goes to the store or bed for the night, I go to my crate where I rest and wait patiently for them to return.    I am also potty trained, but my foster Mo says no dilly-Dolly we have to go straight outside so I don’t have an accident. Monica's adoption fee is $275.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, spay, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. If you are interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at a4apetpantry.org Disclaimer: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs, we are only guessing at breed mix.  August 18, 2024, 10:13 am

Story
Hi!  My name is Butch, I sometimes think my name is “no” or “sit”, but my foster mom says it’s really Butch.   I was born on March 31st, so I am about 5-months old.  My mom was a Catahoula mix and my dad was a shepherd mix.   I came to rescue at the beginning of August,  in my foster home, I spend my days listening to my foster mom on conference calls, chewing on my favorite toys and playing with the other dogs in the house.  My foster family has been working with me and I am now crate trained and potty trained, I am still working on walking on a leash, but sometimes it gets a little scary and I want to just stop…..my foster mom says I will get the hang of it soon enough.   Butch’s adoption fee is $275.00 which includes 3 rounds of shots, neuter, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. If you are interested, please complete the Adoption Application on our website at a4apetpantry.org Disclaimer: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of our dogs, we are only guessing at breed mix.  August 18, 2024, 10:13 am

Story
We rescued Camo three years ago. She is the perfect companion, but needs to be in a home where she can get regular walks and be the center of attention. She gets along well with our pets (dogs and cats), and our three young children. She gives hugs, lets the baby crawl all over her, and loves to snuggle. She is four years old now and is still struggling to adapt to our family life. She needs to be with someone who will give her a lot of affection and attention, and more of a purpose. She needs to be busy. We love Camo dearly but are struggling to meet her needs to keep her happy and mentally healthy. She has an unknown allergy that makes her skin itchy, and will need to be on maintenance medication. It is not expensive. She was able to jump over our 4ft fence however very quickly learned this was against the rules. She is incredibly smart and would train really well, especially if she were an only dog. We are willing to negotiate the fee for the right situation.
