Story
This is Chloe. She's 4 years old and will be 5 on April 18th. She's spayed and UTD on shots, she had her 3 year rabies shot this past July. We adopted Chloe from another person who had gotten her for her daughters. When the daughters didn't take care of her like they had promised and the mom didn't have the time to, she came to live with us. However, we weren't made aware beforehand that she is not good with other female dogs. Every male dog She's come in contact with, including our own, she's done great with, but all three female dogs She's met, she's gotten into fights with, including our other female dog. We have tried everything we can think of to get the two of them to get along, but even when things seem like they'll go well and our other female tries to play with her, Chloe attacks her. She is absolutely the sweetest thing with all people. She adores all of our kids and loves sleeping next to them, you get butt wiggles and kisses when you get home.

Story
Star was rescued in Louisiana. A lady that found her called me and said that she could not find a rescue group in Louisiana to take her. She had a gunshot wound through her jaw and ear. She was in pain. She brought her to me in Mississippi, and I got her the medical treatment that she needed. She had jaw surgery, and now her tongue permanently hangs out. We think this makes her uniquely special!! I know that her tongue hanging out may be a deterrent for a permanent home, but Star is such a sweet baby. She cannot help it that somebody shot her. She is a Catahoula hound, and her tail is docked. Star is a very sweet and loves to ride in the car. She loves dogs, and she loves children. She loves to roll over for a belly rub, and she knows the sit command. She is extremely smart. She loves to load up and ride in the car, and I believe that she was somebody’s baby at one time! Star has been in foster care and boarding for a while, and she wants a forever home! Also, if you live out of state, we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We alternate between the Northeast and the Midwest every other weekend. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee.

Story
Luna and I have been together since I adopted her when she was 4 months old and I had just graduated from grad school. I've done my best to give her a the best life I can for the past 9 years but I think there might be something better for her. anxiety and separation issues have made house training very difficult and I know she'd thrive better in a space with better access to the outdoors. Luna has some sight issues since birth that make her more reactive in bright light but they don't limit her in day-to-day activities. I love her with my whole heart and it will be difficult to part with her, but I know there's a better home out there for her and I want her to spend her senior years in peace.
