Story
Tex is 2 years old. She is house broke and crate trained. She is a super sweet dog and gets along with other dogs and cats and loves kids. She loves to ride in a car and would make someone a great hiking buddy or just a companion. She would need to be an indoor dog. She is an outdoor dog now but has only been outdoors constantly for a few months and she is not doing well with it. She was an indoor dog up until august of 2024 and she hates it but we cant put her inside because of our living situation right now. We have had her since she was 5 weeks old and we have never had any problems with her. We just don't have time to give her the attention she needs. She is an active dog but also loves to be lazy. She knows sit and crate. She just needs an active house hold with kids to love on her and play with her. We hate to get rid of her but we aren't the family that she needs. I would be willing to let you come meet her before you deicide to make sure she is a good fit for you.

Catahoula Leopard Dog Hound (Unknown Type)

Details
Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
This is Fiona, the most cuddliest dog that ever existed. In September 2024, during Hurricane Helene, a landslide took her home in Swannanoa. She has been moved around multiple times since then, and currently without a yard. During the pandemic and ensuing isolation, Fiona had developed some reactivity issues with order dogs and had received some training and gotten better, until Hurricane Helene hit and her training facility was also flooded. Without a stable home and a safe area to run and explore, Fiona's reactivity has gotten worse and her owner has had to make the decision to try to find a place better suited for her needs. Ideally, Fiona needs land or a fenced-in yard to run in. She is a hound dog & likes to chase and follow scent trails wherever they may go. She has reactivity towards other dogs, but once she gets to know them she loves to play. Fiona has lived both with other dogs and other cats.. just needs time to acclimate to her new fur friends first. 10/10 best cuddlebug.
